It is really sad. I wonder what was wrong to cause her to take her own life. Strangely Danny Rapp,, who was the Lead Singer of Danny & The Juniors also committed suicide. I've often wondered if he and Janet were relatied.

@drgma1 Janet suffered from manic depression. Janet's son Gavin Rapp has made a indie movie about her life. Its " Since I Don't Have You." du8e to be released in early 2012. I agree Janet was great-shame she cut her life so short. The first Skyliners album is probably the most romantic and well sung doo wop album ever.

I'd like to know why in the HELL this group isn't in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Something is seriously wrong. The Skyliner were the most unique sounding group. No one but no one could come close.For them to not be in the Hall of Fame is a true crime.

Great trbute.Im a big fan of the Skyliners but never saw these pictures befor.Years ago i dated a Girl by the name of Kathy Vogel and some times i wasnt thinking and would call her Janet !!!!....Our relationship was short lived...R.I.P. Janet.......
