  • go psu beat florida!!!!!! can't wait for ohio state to lose to Arkansas!!!!!!!!

  • Furthermore, luck is a part of every game. In 2006, PSU dominated OSU only to have Morelli throw two pick sixes. In 2004 and 2009, the only reason Ohio State won is special teams. And in 2003, you're lucky that field goal missed or you'd have lost to one of the worst PSU teams of all time. If you want to make that kind of statement, then I guess it's "luck" when OSU beats PSU as well. Look, I'm a realistic fan. I know PSU won't be world-beaters in 2010, but don't expect PSU to lose by 40.

  • Yeah SPEAKING OF GETTING PUNKED ON YOUR OWN FIELD...24-7, 37-17 the last 2 times in Happy Val...err, East Columbus. And this is PSU's only win here as a member of the Big Ten. And, as does every PSU win over OSU, it required a lucky break, the big fumble by a freshman QB. Be thankful the guy who punked your asses a year earlier, Todd Boeckman, never got in the game.

  • @BillyBong05 A"lucky" break. Be a man for once in your Buckeye homer life and admit OSU-OPryor blew it and PSU capitalized on it. What jerk!

  • @BillyBong05 PSU only played in Columbus eight times since joining the Big Ten, we owned you beforehand. And I'd hardly call a two game winning streak turning this into "east columbus", you almost always lose in Beaver Stadium. Might as well start calling the Horseshoe "Happy Valley West" by that logic. Oh, and thank our special teams and Ray Small for your 24-7 win last year. As far as Todd Boeckman goes, with the way your O-Line was playing, had he been in the game in 2008, sack city!

  • @BillyBong05 That one statement you made just killed any credibility you ever had "as does every PSU win over OSU, it required a lucky break". What about 2005 when we shut down your offense and knocked Troy Smith's lights out? Or how about 1999 when we beat you by two touchdowns? Or 1997 when Curtis Enis ran all over you? Or 1994 when we beat you 63-14? The only lucky thing about your 63-14 loss is that our backups let you get within 50. Face it, Penn State and Ohio State are equal overall.

  • @BillyBong05 where is boeckman now?

  • Penn State Ohio State 2009 PSU gets punked on their own field...

  • i saw the shirt with pryor's head in his hands at the game

i think clark's head in his hands would make a better shirt

  • To the poster of this video, now who got punked?! And you're right, DEFENSE is what wins it. Ours was better. 24-7! Go Bucks!

  • Penn State should win this week as well. Can't wait to see PSU win tomorrow over the Horse Chestnuts.

  • WHO WON?? go bucks!

  • Yeah, I know. I hate to say it because I love Penn State but they have found a way to blow anything good every year since 1994, like clockwork. JoePa's a legend who does a lot for the school and all, but with that pucker-pucker gameplan, you can't win games, and as a result, things happen like Ohio State just marching right through Penn State. To be honest, I wouldn't be shocked to see Penn State choke against Indiana or Michigan State or whatever bowl game they end up in (Outback probably).

  • Nahh penn state is good,, they just had a bad game. and umm they arent that good when it comes to playing good defenses. all i know is that ohio state is gunna whoop michigan again

  • So basically, you agree with what I said, PSU always knows how to blow every important game there is. I love Joe Paterno, but to me, his one last MNC shot came in 1994, the rest was up to the voters. Nowadays, as a resutt of him refusing to open it up against good teams, Penn State is pretty much a Purdue or a Minnesota anymore, an irrelavent middle of the pack Big Ten team, like Nebraska is in the Big XII. This year, Penn State has proven that they range from mediocore to awful as Syracuse.

  • yea basically. i still think penn state is one of the powerhouses of the big ten tho.. they always share the title with ohio state, so they are always pretty much up there in the big ten standings

  • Seems with Penn State they're a lot like how Michigan was under Lloyd Carr and Gary Moeller, great year every now and then, but usually 8-4 and 9-3 seasons.

  • @MVillani1985 Yah, like two back-to-back 11-2 season, yeah, PSU is mediocre-azz-clown.

  • @dougalmac54 You wouldn't happen to be joparoarsinhappyvalley from ESPN, would you? The same guy who wishes PSU would go independant again somehow thinking this is the same college football world as in the 80s. Your posting style resemblance to his is uncanny.

  • @MVillani1985 11-2 2 years in a row, and we never lost to purdue

  • @Xnady22 Well not since 2004 anyway. I love the Nittany Lions but I'm scared about this upcoming season. I think 2011 will be an amazing season, but 2010 will be tough for us to watch. But hey, we got through the dark years okay, this should be nothing.

  • @MVillani1985 ya, i just hope for six wins so joe can reach 400

  • @Xnady22 Well it's possible if Wagner can learn to kick. But Joe will be around through 2011 anyway so that won't be an issue.

  • @MVillani1985 ya man, but just to get it out of the way this year, penn state will be fine this year, dont worry

  • @Xnady22 I really hope everybody's right and I'm wrong when I say PSU could be looking at a 4-8 (1-7) season (2-10 if they lose to Temple, since they won't have the stuff to beat Indiana), but I've never been so worried about a Penn State season in all my life.

  • @MVillani1985 ya man that could happen, but its penn state we still have royster talented wide outs, stephon greene, and we r returning 16 players, just happen not to be our quarter back or line backers, but Penn State is Linebacker U

  • @Xnady22 Linebackers do worry me a bit, but as you said, we are Linebacker U, so by midseason our linebackers should be great. But then again, a superstar could emerge like Navarro Bowman did in 2008, but I'm worried that no matter which QB we choose, we're screwed, I can see any one of those QBs turning the ball over a lot and costing us some big games. Collin Wagner also will cost us some games that come down to his foot, I'm afraid, so we'd lose 16-14 rather than win 17-16 for example.

  • @MVillani1985 ya man, but hey he will be fine this year, im feeling a break out year

  • @MVillani1985 Yeah, that LSU game was a fluke, huh? You call yourself a PSU fan? Get lost, you namby-pamby apologist. You make me sick, putting your nose in these arrogant, Buckeye homer's butts. Piss on the schmuckeyes. The worm WILL turn and we will dance through Columbus like a tornado.

  • @dougalmac54 Know what makes ME sick? Responses to something I wrote months ago when I was upset with the team for choking away a Big Ten championship, acting like it's somehow current to what I think now about the 2009 team. Of course that Capital One Bowl was no fluke! The only fluke was LSU getting back into it! By the way, I don't kiss anyone's ass, if they insult Penn State, I dish it back at them (such as HaterIsHere, he tried to talk shit, and he was shocked that I dared defend my team).

  • The fumble was replayed too many times in this video, its not like it was that sweet of a play.

  • both teams had great defense

  • You sure don't win Rose Bowls with that defense.

  • Go Penn State

  • and the fumble

  • There's no such thing as holding penalties in the Big10

  • Holy Shit! How in the world was there no holding call on the play where Cryor threw the INT. And yes, to whoever asked if anyone noticed how exctied the announcer got when he yelled "GOING DEEP", only to be crushed by Sargeant's INT.

  • Did anyone realize how excited when the announcer yells "GOING DEEP" and then he sounds all depressed and says "intercepted....." can you imagine if it was a TD? He would be screaming like a little girl going "Can you believe that?!!?!?!? IT's a Touchdown?!?!?" there are too many Penn State haters.... at least K. Herbstreit isn't so biased. The only announcer I like from the game day crew. I freaking hate Lee Corso.......

  • This was one of my favorite PSU regular season victories. Although there were few points scored, it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I don't care if the Big Ten is down or not, winning in Columbus at night on prime time TV is not an easy task by any stretch. Shame we blew the season the next game against a pathetic bitch-ass Iowa team that had we played again, we'd spank by double digits.

  • If you are an OSU fan, as I recall USC tore you a new one (38-3 sounds about right), we still beat you on your own turf, and you choked in yet another BCS game. If you are a Michigan fan...ROFL and better luck next year...NOT! And don't give me that shit that you didn't have Beanie against USC if you are an OSU fan. It wouldn'tve mattered. They manhandled you guys and he wouldnt've changed that. Sounds like jealous, bitter, sour grapes to me.

  • Sorry, my friend. I am a UT fan. We BEAT SC (the team that tore you anew one) for the championship in 2005. We BEAT OSU (the team that has dominated you) in 2005 AND 2008. We BEAT Michigan(another team that has had their way with you) in 2004. 3 out of 4 of those wins were BCS games. Hope that clears things up. Your move.

  • You guys should've lost to a team that lost at home to the same team you are on here badmouthing. OSU dominates us? Really? We split the last 4 meetings and each have two conference crowns in that span. What I want to know is why you insist on starting with a fan of a team that has no rivalry, connection, etc. to yours. Here's a score: 38-15. Does it ring a bell? Well it should, because that's the score we beat you by the last time we played you.

  • Well, we didn't lose--we won! Yes, you did beat us, but check the records and championships since then. I think you'll find your team has been mired in marginal play, while we have the best record over the last ten years against ranked opponents, and the most wins, plus a national championship. Also, we tend to beat your conference--we're 4-1 over the last 5 games. Anyway, you are correct--we have no natural rivalry.

  • We have been down, but we are not the only major program that has hit rough patches or is in one currently...Nebraska, Miami, FSU, ND, UM, Bama for a while, A&M, and Colorado to name a few off the top of my head. You have beaten our conference, but until two individual teams settle it on the field, everything else is speculation. I would love to play UT sometime. For as two big of schools as ours, we hardly have any history to speak of. A home and away would be awesome.

  • Well said. It IS all speculation until teams play--which is exactly what was so frustrating for us --we BEAT OU, but were denied a shot at the title. Weird. Yes, program success is cyclical. ND, MU are down, but they will be back. There is too much money and interest to keep it that way. I like your thinking--how fun would it be if we both met in the tile game next year! I want to wish you and your team success in the coming years.

  • The speculation can be put to bed with a playoff or plus one scenario. I doubt we will be in the title game next year, now you guys have as good a shot as anyone else. We however, lost 3 all-conference caliber OL-men (including Shipley who won the Rimington and was first team AA), our top 3 WRs who were all 4 year starters, lost 3 DE, and lost 4 starters in the secondary. However, we have a favorable home slate and the B10 is down...so who knows?

  • @DarkestNight2084 osu is gonna kick you guys's ass this saturday

  • Yeah, you little schlong horn punk, the last time PSU played Texas, we tore you a new one 38-15. Kiss my ass, vato!

  • Lets not forget the 30-6 rape in the '72 Cotton Bowl. That was a great one.

  • Mighty satisfyin'! Lydell Mitchell, 4 TD's, 148 yards rushing, PSU defense only allowed two field goals. CRUSHING Darryl Royal and the BS Longhorns.

  • Iowa hardly "pushed Penn State around good". Penn State had the ball for over 40 minutes and I think held Iowa to only 70 yards and 8 first downs. Penn State dominated Iowa for all but the last two minutes but played flat all game. And I'd hardly call 38-24 "getting torn a new one". The game was statistically close in all areas AND PSU was two plays away from a good comeback with what was happening in the 4th quarter.

  • Bullshit, you little punk. You're full of shit. And you guys choked aginst Tech, you bonehead! And Oklahoma punked your ass at the end of the season

  • kirk hates PSU. remember a couple years ago when jo pa got hit in the leg before that he called him a old hag or something. then afterwards he apoligized. don't dis jo pa

  • That was Craig James actually. Herbstreit actually speaks very highly of Penn State. I like him, in that he's able to put aside the natural tendency to drool over one's alma mater and call things objectively.

  • i coulda sworn that was kirk.. oh well. nevar mind

  • Nah, Kirk was one of PSU's biggest fans this year. He always said a lot of great things about them.

  • Casey1Adams, anything is legal on a fumble you can hold and bat the ball away

  • I'm not sure what's more amazing: Penn State's defense or Brent's monotome throughout the entire montage.

  • Brent's voice is good, but I don't like him as play-by play. He's full of shit and blows everything out of proportion and says some stupid shit. I prefer the guy who does the 3: 30 games on ABC

  • I think he had a sore throat for that game. And larma, I think your Talking about Brad Nessler. I prefer him too.

  • Yes. Brad Nessler has a bad-ass football voice. lol

  • Yeah I agree. He's great

  • fucking ohio state. they got fucked up

  • 11-1 Rose Bowl baby!

  • WE ARE... DEFENSE!!

  • This play was complete bullshit. 1) The defender who knocked the ball out then held Pryor's jersey so he couldn't get the ball. 2) the other penn state player purposley hit the ball away from the other players which is illegal and should have been a penalty!

  • you have no idea what you are talking about when there is a loose ball you do whatever it takes to get the ball there is no penalty for keeping a play alive by tapping the ball away to keep ohio state from getting the ball so casey1adams make sure you know what you are talking about before you leave a comment

  • You assumed that Ohio State fans have the ability to call things as they are instead of making excuses. Hell, they are even selling osu big 10 champ shirts. I'll tell you one thing. If ohio had beaten psu and psu had beaten Iowa, I wouldn't be enough of a fucktard to buy a penn state big ten champs shirt. It is just common sense. Everyone outside of Colombus knows who the real big ten champs are. Go PSU!!!

  • lol, so true. No one considers OSU partial Big Ten champs.

  • Also, notice how Ohio State fans never mention that in 2002 they shared the conference championship with Iowa.

  • YOU ARE RETARDED PSU WON SUCK IT UP

  • PENN STATE SUCKS!

  • And I was there. :) Man, it was such a sweet victory. My senior year, been to all four PSU/OSU games in that time, and while the record is only 2-2, the two victories have been so amazing.

  • It would have likely been better than 2-2 if Clark had been playing the last two years instead of Morelli. Hey, then Ohio wouldn't have gotten to choke in the title game either. Even they would have been better off.

  • i live in belleonte pa i go to the home games, WE ARE PENN STATE!

  • PENN STATE IS AWESOME!
