But, I'm confused. Different sources say that this laptop also has a fingerprint scanner between the left and right mouse buttons, and that it doesn't have bluetooth and this is the only time I've ever heard that it has blu-ray. I can't quite figure it out.

ive seen the laptop in person, its great amazing and cheap, it does not have a fingerprint scanner.

I bought ASPIRE 5738G with the exact same specs except OS (Vista 32bit), no touchscreen and DVD-ROM doesn't support Blu Ray.

Its a really good laptop, I can play BioShock with all settings Maxed Out, Batman Arkham Asylum also fully playable with settings max except shadows, FEAR Combat runs flawesly, games like CoD 2, BF2 run great. CoD 4 MW is fully playable.

Crysis and Far Cry 2 lag (~20 fps)even when settings are low. FSX is not playable, FS2004 runs great.

This is a notebook, not a laptop, it's smaller than conventional laptops. 8700GTS is a crap card anyway mate, so I'd give your laptop 1 star.
