@DanRowe87 I totally agree with you on that, couldn't believe my eyes either! I've seen dyno runs where they use up to 6 straps on the backside + straps in front. Not like here 4 straps in total. Do they even know this is a 4wd car? They were lucky that guy didn't just gun the engine like on a lot of dyno-runs, or we would be looking at a "dyno fail" video

@MrFanta1975 I have seen 6 straps used as well for a 2011 mustang producing up to 426hp. All the straps were rated at 3300lbs these straps may be rated higher, that I do not know. All I know is these guys did not practice proper saftey. Maybe they need to watch the video of the Evo falling off the lift I would hate to see this happen. I run a Dyno a Tri-c and if something goes wrong its my head.

The manufacturer always gives the power at the crank, as measured on an engine dyno. This is a chassis dyno, it measures the power at the wheels. All cars lose power across the drive train, especially AWD cars like this LP670-SV. People claim a 13% reduction across the drivetrain but the actual figure varies for each car. Also, dynos all have some error.

This Lambo is rated of 670HP. But since the weather its cold and the

Tyre is wet the performance is impact. Only 547HP is produce.

@cmh83 what 512BBi said is right there's 662bhp at the flywheel but u also have a point... when the murcielago's engine starts to hit higher temperature the vents above the rear wheels open no matter the speed the car is moving... so it might produce a bit more when if it had a good warmup before... 670?675 max?

Well for my understanding in engineering terms if you have a controlled room temperature and a good dyno you will have around 600hp which is 10% percent lost due to flywheel.

There's also few things need to include inside it.

1. Is the car near end its service mileage, the HP output will be lower as the engine oil isn't smooth then you just change your motor oil.

2. Weather. To hot or too cold the output HP will be effected.

3. Changing rims to difference sizes. like from 18" to 21" inch.

Someone needs to learn how to strap cars correctly to a dyno..straps should be crossed over to avoid it from flying off to the sides...I see on all your videos the cars are all strapped in the same way :S.... Hope you guys can make sure that doesn't happen again cause the vehicle and general safety was at risk. On a side note, awesome car too bad the mic wasnt able to catch the sound..
