  • I like flounder deep fried whole, the skin is so tasty!

  • heather, i like your recipe...but the only thing that was a turn off for me is when you touched your hair and touched the food. when you have viewers that pay attention they tend to notice every detail. fish looks delish, good job!

  • Is it me or do black women cook the best damn lookin fish. Search YT and the best fish cooks are women of color.........Good vid....Thank you very much.

  • Caught my first flounder this morning from a local saltwater lake... I think I just found the perfect way to cook it. A few other vids I have seen all saying crumbing and frying is the best way to cook flounder, but you have sold me on the whole lemon thing. Love my fish lemony! I will be giving this a go tonight, thanks for the vid. blocka (NSW, Austraila)

  • Wow mmmmmmm!!!

  • WHAT WAS THE EXACT NAME OF THE SAUCE ? WHERE CAN I GET IT ?

  • Good morning, Heather! You are such a help with the flounder we just got!

  • This looks so good I am going to try it

  • Everytime you bite into your meals and take a sip of your wine you make it look soooo scrumptious!!!

  • Hey H/J

Your video and sound quality are "so good".

Don't know why but I have been a Shake & Bake orthodox kind of guy for a long time.

I have some flounder and tilapia filets in the freezer and I think the time has come to crawl out of the oven and into the pan!

Will give it a try today.

    Kee3p up the good work.

Simple recipes for simple foods are simply the best!

  • I'm about to prepare some fried flounder myself in a few minutes. I'm going to try adding the breadcrumbs like you did. My only pet peeve is that you should tie your hair back when cooking-- you touched your hair and the raw fish a couple of times. Your locs are beautiful, but next time put them in a pony.

  • I wish I was there fish wine and you

  • I tried this a couple of days ago & it was really good. It's gonna become one of my staples.

  • @kalane WHAT WAS THE SAUCE SHE MENTIONED ? DID YOU FIND IT ?

  • @PlumSkull bajan pepper sauce..i have no idea how to make it but its sold in west indian markets im sure you can buy online as well

  • Looks yummy. The fish too ;-)

  • arent u supose to wait another 5mins on the other side of the flounder?

  • I have given up on flounder every time I try to flip it it falls apart. My mom used to make it but they fall apart for me.

  • Maybe you're overcooking a bit? Depending on the thickness of the fillet, try cooking only 3-4 minutes before flipping. Fish cooks pretty fast and continues to cook with residual heat even when you take it from the pan. Most people tend to overcook fish.

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • THAT LOOKS GOOD!!
