All three of his brothers are on Facebook , 2 were in the band-- They had nicknames for years. Moses (David) Manry, Gideon (Peter) and Baron (Bob) the youngest. Baron Played with Moses somewhat later I believe. The elder brother, Mike is a physicist and does not to my knowledge play music but was one of the pioneers of digital photog. They came from the Houston area but in the early 70s all lived in Austin. I knew Gideon, Mike & Baron quite well but only met Moses a few times.
"Song of songs" is a Hebrew grammatical construction denoting the superlative; that is, the title attests to the greatness of the song, similar to "the lord of lords", "the king of kings" or "holy of holies" (used of the inner sanctuary of the Jerusalem temple). Rabbi Akiba declared, "Heaven forbid that any man in Israel ever disputed that the Song of Songs is holy. For the whole world is not worth the day on which the Song of Songs was given to Israel
Nice back beat to it, I see where you where the drummer? If so you did a good job playing to this music. I play also, and I think it would not be to easy to play along with this stuff.
