I have a house near LHR. I see a380, a330, 747, and alot of big planes taking off and land from my garden, in the distence. You really get quite used to it.

@ikolkyo967 the aircraft is of a similar footprint to the 747, so i think its very well designed to be able to carry a vastly larger amount of passengers and still be of a similar size, all this "smashin" is because of pilot error, not because its to big. "grow up" was my opinion, so why comment on that ;) and to conclude this, uurm, debate, swearing is a sign of a lack of intelligence :)

@sashman3988 every saturday and sunday i have one go over mine. It was Emirates 2 sundays ago. i keep forgetting to look out for it. I'm suprised though becuase it didn't have the logo at the bottom but was an A380 and had the same fin!???
@sashman3988 I live in the flight path of LHR but about 1/2 hour by car going along the M3 and M25. It's about 20 miles but I get a good look at he belly of the plane and a bit of the side. I remeber my holiday to Toronto and the flight didn't go so well. It was a good 3 weeks though.

I was, but I've been even closer. Take a look at my A380 playlist (accessible from my Channel Page). There is a video of A QANTAS A380 that passes low right over my head, so low in fact that you can hear the blast of air whoosh past.

How can anyone NOT be impressed with this aircraft! She is so beautiful but in a totally different way to the 747. Can you imagine driving a high sided vehicle along that road just as one of those babies come flying overhead!!!!!!!! I wonder just what height she is at over the road it looks very low but probably not that low. Great shots 5* well done
