@yakult244 Yeah birds can eat rice just fine, in fact some eat little else at certain times of the year.

The real reason behind some places banning rice at weddings is much simpler. Spread rice on your sidewalk and walk on it with hard soled dress shoes. Places were worried about lawyers not birds. It's amazing people can be so ignorant about nature that they would believe myths like that.

If anyone doesn't believe me go read a book and quit getting your 'facts' from emails.

sorry to see that you didn't like my video but it's just to proof to others, that's not true about Pigeon's and rice.. Nothing happened to that pigeon it's still alive and it's more likely to die from being eaten by a cat then from eating the rice. I have a pigeon shop next to me and I have asked the owner about the whole myth and he agreed with me. Rice is not much different to any other grains that birds eat and their are fine.

yeh get little pieces of moist new bread make tiny bread balls with sodium bicarbonate centers let them dry and feed them to the pigeons i have done this many times and in result killed loads of pigeons and on duck because i wanted roast duck and it was in a place what was too public to shoot it so i used the BALLS! lol :)
