  • I heard this song shortly before my Dad passed two years ago. Can't say why it stuck, but the part at the end, the old person with their hand out gets me every time.

  • @scorpioxf It is indeed a very potent image. I'm glad you have a connection with this video.

    +2,000 points for you.

  • that's great!

  • Soooooooooooooo tranquil

  • i think its safe to say that this is the best AMV i've ever seen

  • Boards of Canada synced with Koyaanisqatsi... How has no-one else thought of this before? Thank you so much for this, I love BoC and Koyaanisqatsi is one of my favourite films!

  • I love it!

  • i know this is from a video but did you piece it together or is this a scene?

  • @oioioijellyroll I pieced this together. That'd be magical if the song actually perfectly fell in sync with a scene from the movie. It's just an image patchwork!

  • @Deloreansyk well you did a perfect job man really flows together well!

  • @oioioijellyroll Thank you!

  • If aliens were to ever be beamed a message of who and what we are, this should be it.

  • @littlecatpiano amen!

  • i listened to this song while on a bad, bad trip from some magic mushrooms... it made everything better.

  • Monkey Dust send me here =)

  • brilliant.

  • HUmans are a most interesting species.

  • @310socalifornia Hyoomenz R eh moezt eentearessting speeshez.

  • nice. It doesn't surprise me that Boards of Canada would fit perfectly in a film designed for Philip Glass. They're both stunningly beautiful, repetitious, minimal, composed of simple gestures that come together with perfection really...

  • gran video y hermosa canción

  • sounds like a Dominatrix taking over some body with a paddle

  • hipnotic.... and relaxing...

  • I like the comparison of cities to computer chips. The music video "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service did the same. Perhaps that's how us humans naturally arrange ourselves given enough time?

  • Easily the most epic video I have ever seen. And the moment from 4:56 or so onward with the hand and the woman reaching out and letting them hold hers. Thats powerful stuff. Meditate on that for a second.

  • @aJugglingBonobo Thanks! :3

  • @aJugglingBonobo -

I have watched this a couple times a day for a few weeks.

  • @aJugglingBonobo well i found the birdseye view of the city cutting to the images of the circuit boards far more thoughtfull.

  • More than perfect

  • but I did like the man on telly part

  • pretty cool video but it's not really doing it for me

  • Excellent video ! Hats Down

  • A great video to accompany another amazing Boards of Canada tune!

    Thanks for uploading

  • well edited my friend.

  • nice

  • wow

  • That part at the end when the old lady holds out her hand and the nurse holds it makes me wanna cry.

  • my brain just exploded. this is amazing.

  • @ramafia09 Thank you!

  • I thought koyaanisqatsi was directed by Francis Ford Coppela?

  • 0:05 windsor =D

  • This is like the perfect video for this song.

  • Astounding.

  • tu video no tiene mucha armonia con la cancion Turquoise Hexagon Sun, solo en el minuto 3.46 al 4.06 me gusto...

  • Nice

  • Astounding. Thank you.

  • Fantastic video!

  • Video: Koyaanisquasti directed by Godfrey Reggio

  • @Sem0001 Fuck yeah it is! See this film!

  • really nice work top vid.

  • incredible selected video to the music ..

    BoC inspire me ..

    greeting

  • definitely like this sort of retroish, style images and the slow lingering sound.... brilliant!

  • excellent!!

  • vid matches the music very nicely well done. 11/10

  • Impressive. Electronic musik sometimes makes me think of the coldness of our tecknological and automatic society. It´s good music though.

  • For some reason I got the urge to play pool now.

  • awesome video, reminds me a bit of night knuckles by clark which is at least as impressive as this one

  • Fantastic choice of video to accompany the music, really well cut. makes a refreshing change.

    BOC are just awesome

  • Koyaanisqatsi is my fav film ever ...i wont to hate this video but i cant really good job xxxxx

  • Great vid man, nice job on the sync and love the way you bring us all back in time ;) Very BOC'ish :P

  • One of my fav. songs. Also love the film. Would love to own it on DVD.

  • Excellent video, and interpretation of the song; it was the height of mechanization and we all lived through it. Cheers

  • Director: Godfrey Reggio

Executive producer : Francis Ford Coppola

  • iconiser : lamer ,its not a francis ford coppola film, he was just the producer, i doubt ur a masterpiece urself.

  • Great video! - has a kind of 1983ish 'The Day After' kind of feel to it...

keep up the good work on the BoC stuff mate

  • gorgeousssssss! hats off to you bud!
