@brown3979 The team can voluntarily practice 'over the limit'. And that's exactly what they did. There were just a select few players that got cut from the team and were a little pissy about it and decided to tell the NCAA that Rich Rod practiced them overtime.

The NCAA released a statement about penn state saying the law always holds precedent over the associated. If thats the case (whether believe it or not) Tressels excuse of not saying anything because it was an ongoing federal investigation is completely valid. All Tress had to do was talk to a lawyer, get them to agree and he is in the clear.

Why would Tressel continue to hide something for so long if he himself had nothing to hide? Because he was obviously using it as a recruiting tool.

It leaves Pac-10 teams with only three non conference games, robbing them of a non conference game or two that could provide a sixth win and a bowl berth...Also USC is ineligible..otherwise they would have a bowl berth.

It was fun to be a part of this on Saturday. I loved how the third time around the U of M fans didn't even try to boo when we started the chant! Unbelievable how much red there was throughout the stadium.

@brown3979 The team can voluntarily practice 'over the limit'. And that's exactly what they did. There were just a select few players that got cut from the team and were a little pissy about it and decided to tell the NCAA that Rich Rod practiced them overtime.

The NCAA released a statement about penn state saying the law always holds precedent over the associated. If thats the case (whether believe it or not) Tressels excuse of not saying anything because it was an ongoing federal investigation is completely valid. @Ryan1111111able Played at Nevada? I'm sure that was an extremely intimidating 30,000 crowd to play in front of. You can sit there and justify the losses all you want but hey guess what? A loss is a loss is a loss. If I wanted to I could justify every Big 10 loss up and down and probably give some great reasons, but the fact remains they are still losses and the Pac 10 just simply isn't better than the Big 10. At the end of the day who ever is winning football games is all that matters

@bigt130913 Michigan has over 100,000 fans at the big house and you can hear a pin drop...Autzen Stadium seats half that and it's crazy loud and intense....it's not the size of the crowd....it's the atmosphere that counts..... And a win isnt a win lol strength of schedule matters...everybody knows this

It's OK to admit something but not have your point mean anything less, but don't say that michigan isn't a loud stadium. It's amazing how you won't give credit where credit is due. You really are extremely ignorant and you don't even realize it. Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa are all way louder (and bigger) than your stadiums.

@bigt130913 It's a well known fact the big house despite having over 100,000 people has a mild crowd....much much more tougher places to play.....It's hardly a rowdy stadium.....EVERYBODY knows this...it's been like that for YEARS

@bigt130913 for over 100,000 people The Big House isn't a loud stadium...a lot of the time it's eerily quiet...and at the big house the fans aren't right on top of you like other stadiums...it's not a intimidating place to play....Other places like Death Valley, Autzen stadium. etc that seat half what the big house does but the atmosphere is 20 X more intimidating....I think the clip in this video is all the proof u need

Go Google Jeff Sarigan and read about his numbers and who he is...trust me nobody with a clue at this thinks the Big 10 is stronger than The Pac 10, SEC or Big 12....

@Ryan1111111able If the university of akron plays 12 ranked opponents all year and goes 0-12 are the somehow the best team because their strength of schedule is #1 just because they played all these great opponents? No. I'm going to remember the fact you talked up the Boise State team as being some sort of great team because more than likely when Wisconsin beats TCU in the rose bowl you're going to fire back to me "oh well......TCU is a joke team and never should have been there anyways"

@bigt130913 The Pac-10 is the only conference that plays as many as nine conference games. It leaves Pac-10 teams with only three non conference games, robbing them of a non conference game or two that could provide a sixth win and a bowl berth...Also USC is ineligible..otherwise they would have a bowl berth.

Like i already told you the pac 10 plays more conference games and a tougher schedule...plus USC is on probation.....Look at some of the teams that made a bowl game...Troy,Ohio, Fresno ST, N. Illinois, michigan etc California, Arizona etc would murder those teams lol....Remember Cal lost to Oregon by 2 points...remember that when the Ducks get mentioned as one of the most explosive teams EVER.....yet Michigan managed 6 wins playing teams like UMASS, Bowling Green, Notre Dame , garbage teams

Looked like it last year vs Oregon oh wait they won that game...tOSU just has issues with SEC teams. Not the Big Ten...tOSU does...LSU VS PENN last year and dont forget the thumping Michigan gave Tebow and the gators.
As for the Big Ten being soft, last year The Big Ten won all of the games featuring top 25 teams in their conference...the last to do that? Not the SEC not the big 12...or pac10.....the big ten was the last one to do it in 2000. Dont blame the entire conference...facts b4 media.

By the way it was the former Division 1 AA title not D2. If you're gonna bust someone for facts, get your own right. A team ranked in the top 10 net alone the top 5 should win walking away verses a lower division team period.

It was fun to be a part of this on Saturday. I loved how the third time around the U of M fans didn't even try to boo when we started the chant! Unbelievable how much red there was throughout the stadium.

This was my 4th time going to The Game at Michigan Stadium, and this was BY FAR the most OSU fans I've seen there. Seriously? The full stadium O-H-I-O cheer in your big rivals stadium. How embarrassing!!! It's really not fair...OSU doesn't have to play road games in The Rivalry anymore.
