@Smil3Lik3UMeanIt No. Bases are ionic compounds that are made of a metal ion (like Na+) bonded to a hydroxide ion (OH-). In alcohols, there are no metal atoms...in fact, no ions at all! The OH is covalently bonded to the carbon in an alcohol, so it doesn't ionize when you put it in water.
