@METALFREAK03 I know what you mean man..I geuss b/c snares take the bulk of the beating. there is snare in every drum beat and when your talking about blasting thats a lot of hits on the snare, people tend to hit a lot harder on the snare than a tom or hi-hat. and you prolly just use more force on the right side of your set if your right handed. I buy cheap china cymbals and they are always the first to break or crack on my right side.

@Ilanney I always stupidly buy the crashes in series, so its like 180 pounds for 5 of them then they break. But hey, i guess its all part and parcel of drumming. Studios are fucking frustrating at times and your cymbals take the frustrating. I also have to change my snare 4 times every album recording usually that I do. The class thing though about snares they never lose their sound even if they are old and tattered.
