  • Just information. Parvo can stay in your house for a year... doesn't matter how much bleach or household products you put on it. Make sure your pet is vaccinated.

  • I noticed my dog with symptoms and did get my dog to the vet in time and the dog survived, thankfully. So early detection and treatment is crucial.

  • You Gotta Vaccinate your pups & dogs people. It doesn't cost that much. Order shots through vet supply catalogs or feed stores. Don't take pups anywhere until they have a series of three shots. I have seen pups die with this so thats where I learned I don't have to sit back and watch them suffer. This is easily prevented with vaccinations. I am sorry you lost your pups.

  • this is so cute.

this video reminded me of my pups that died. (U)

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vaccinate for this disease!!!! And if your dog does show signs, get them into vet care right away!

I am so sorry for your loss.

  • Such a sad video! My friends and I lost a total of 5 foster pups (a litter of 2 and a litter of 3) to parvo.. It was horrible to see them happy one day and so near death the next... Do you mind if I ask what breed your pups were? They're adorable...

  • my puppy has parvo i only got hm for 4 days and he got very sick we sent him to the vet paid 686dollars couldnt afford to keep him in ..took him home nursed him for a day he got terrible sick so i had to give him back to the vet ..they said next time i did i would have to give him up so eitherway i lost him ;( but aleast he is goingto live ;) ..we called his breeder he said to us he was going to pay for his vet bills so ..we are very happy and we might get our puppy back if he pulls thru

  • i'm so sorry for your loss. my puppy just recovered from parvo. i need to stop watching these videos. i'm sorry and thanks for sharing.

  • My dog has parvo right now, he has been having it for 1 week and hes still sick! hes getting good treatment at the vet, im visiting the vet once everyday, you think my dog wil survive??? he is drinking water on hes own but he is throwing some of it up! and HOW LONG WAS UR DOG SICK?? plz answer :'( im sooo worryed for my dog

  • yes, i think your dog can make it if you are committed to be there for your dog 24/7. that's what we had to do. i took two days off of work to hook her up to i.v.s and inject her with medicine and boil chicken and white rice for her. you can do this keep y our head up and if you have any questions, please let me know. i'll be prayin for you and your dog.

nabby was sick for two days before i took her into emergency to get the medication. if you haven't taken your dog in yet, do it soon.

  • OMG that was sad im crying now!

  • My Neighbours dog is infected with Parvo. He has gone through 4 days already and is only 12 hours away from medical attention. I ask that anyone that gets this messgae will pray with us untill our dog Duke is better.

  • My Border Collie had parvo. Everyday I'd come home from work, I'd cry before I'd get home cuz I thought she was gone. The day I finally broke down at work, I went home and she welcomed me, instead of just lying there. It was the best day of my life. She'll be 4 in August.

  • My dog has parvo right now, he has been having it for 1 week and hes still sick! hes getting good treatment at the vet, im visiting the vet once everyday, you think my dog wil survive??? he is drinking water on hes own but he is throwing some of it up! and HOW LONG WAS UR DOG SICK?? plz answe :'( im sooo worryed for my dog

  • Mine was sick for 2-3 weeks, but that's a bit long for a dog to have parvo, I think. I believe the worst thing for a dog who has parvo is dehydration, so just make sure he keeps drinking water, whether he like ie or not!

  • 2-3 weeks :O i cant understand how my dog wil survive 1 more week :| he is rly ill... hes vometing blood and have diarea with like more blood than actuall poo, hes getting water into hes vains at the vett, + hes getting alot of water home with me... but still he wont eat ANNYTHING, i have tryed to foce him to eat but it dossnt work... diddnt ur dog eat for 2-3 weeks?

  • No, she didn't eat anything for that long, but it's VITAL to make sure your dog is drinking. If he throws it back up, give him more until he can hold it down. Usually, the vet will keep the dog until they're well.

  • well the frist 78 hours are burtal on the puppy if your puppy was able to survive those and the puppy is drinking water on its own thats a good sign . but our puppy survied parvo he was sick for 9 days and the smell of parvo will last for a few weeks later and at times the puppy will be still sick but dont panic his poop will harden ect but will be difficult cause at times up to 12- 16 weeks the

  • puppy has no controll over the puppys washroom breaks ect .. but its important to keep giving him water and light food rice boiled beef ect and continue medicatation for parvo

  • my puppy i got from a breeder possibly contracted parvo and within in two and half days of having him he start coughing and drooling & becoming skinny. he ended up dying and it was so hard I spend all the nights shoving food and water down his throat the smell was just awful less than 24 hours as well. now im like scared and wont let my new puppy out of my sight and into parks..not until hes like year old. its just to risky people dont vaccinate or seem to care.

  • My dog had parvo, he had it when whe got him and he survived.Sorry to hear about your dogs mand and these pups.SAD

  • My puppy died from parvo. we kept him indoors until we could get him vaccinated but i dont know how he got this damned virus :(

r.i.p to all the puppies who had suffered from parvo

  • my mini pin died just 24hours ago from this virus my whole family cried for him.

  • Hi, thanks for posting this...my little girl's puppy just died form this virus....I though it was something I did wrong....but now I know it was nothing I could have done...thanks again for posting!

  • I think it's a great way to do it....Why? Because we can't tell people enough about the symptoms, and 95% are less likely to understand the severity of Parvo JUST by simply explaining it. It is SO important to GET YOUR PETS VACCINATED if you want them around for awhile, and NEVER walk un vaccinated pets on the ground in pet stores, OR keep them in carts until Completely vaccinated!!!

  • i had a puppy and she had parvovirus... fortunately she recovered, the doctor said that it was plainly a miracle because most puppies dont recover.... but like 2 weeks after she died of another cause.... it was so sad

  • omg muh 2 month old chihauhau died 4rm that!

  • todo eso por gente irresponsable que no vacuna sus perros!

  • f**k you parvovirus!

  • Empathise with your grief but why display the suffering? We get dealt with suffering on the news everyday, and some people suffer becuase of it. Appreciate you are trying to raise awareness but don't think this is the way to do it. Sorry but just being honest.

  • sorry if u don't like it but it is the best way of raising awareness, have u ever seen parvo with your own eyes?? if this video can make just one person more aware it could save another pups life. you may not like the way i have done it but i can't please everyone but then again i wasn't done to please people

  • @hermione1968 you probably dont have any pets , so you wouldnt understand a dam thing,, bugg off

  • @filiberto13 I actually have a number of pets, and have a hell of a lot of understanding. As I said in my original comment, I was just stating how I personally felt. I wasn't attacking anyone.

  • awww so cute

  • do not understand?? this is not cute they are dead
