I was at this game! I WORK for Notre Dame! I was one of the very few Ushers inside the stadium the ENITRE evac and there was nothing but rain, lightning and clouds in the sky! I was looking at the sky the entire time. You guys are MENTAL!

people are calling this flying trash, a rock, hail from the storm, and even birds/bugs and then calling people who are simply sayng its an UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT, nothing more. calling this an alien is purely conjecture.  what is clear is that its identity is not. nothing more or less. physics tells us the wind from this storm was not strong enough to fling a rock, hail, or other heavy objects into flight this high up and common sense tells us birds/bugs dont fly in rain. decisions yours.

1. The University of Notre Dame as well as the football stadium is in Notre Dame Indiana NOT South Bend Indiana.

2. South Bend Indiana is a small nearly bankrupt town with nothing to offer space visitors.

If this was shot looking up under and close to the stadium lights, it could be a large insect. Insects flock to stadium lights. And notice how the rain drops are illuminated by the lights. Looks like whatever it was was also illuminated by them.. Maybe it was a hot dog wrapper in the wind! Whatever it is, doesn't look like it was actually up in the sky and clouds, but in the stadium.
