Bin laden worked for the CIA and there is no proof he is even alive. 9/11 didn't happen because of blowback, it happened because of greed. It happened so that the Bush administration could start a never ending war to drive up oil prices. Before the US invaded Iraq oil was trading at around $23 per barrel, today nearly $140. This is a war for proffit nothing else. And you're right, people did see what happened at the pentagon and witnesses outside the government did not see a commercial plane.

Releasing oil from the reserve did absolutely nothing, and half heartedly lobbying to drill in Anwar is a joke. He can make decisions to spy on Americans or hold people without charges or trial, he can give himself power to declare marshall law but he can't get oil out of anwar in an emergency. I think the best way to confront people regarding 9/11 is by demanding a new investigation as opposed to shouting out "9/11 was an inside job". The best thing to do is to have a collective effort for a new and independent investigation. That's the best hope of any real progress. I think most Americans can agree that's what we need.
