AILD is NOT metalcore. And I really hope that statement is a joke. All those bands are incredibly repetitive and can't reinvent themselves to save their lives.

Alexisonfire is Canadian, and if you want to judge bands by actual musicianship these guys kind of suck. Bands like BTBAM, The Human Abstract, and After The Burial destroy these guys. But I suppose it's all dependent on how you judge music.
