Hank was one fantastic guitar picker. His picking is recognized on lots of other folks songs. I was at one of his concerts in 1970, and he commented that he had played on over 1000 recordings. He also played " Tammy " wich is on this album with Chet. It had just been released at the time. I sure miss both of these guy's playing.
Yes...it seems that they were having a bit of a musical in-joke...that's a really interesting, fun way to end a song, as well as showing even another layer of chops.

Yes but what about poor Macangusagain.
Now he is really confused.
At least tell him.

Only problem is that it isn't Hank.
It's Paul Yandel

I know that. When I first started this channel, I had very few pictures of Chet to work with, so I had to do the best with what I had.
It was either that, or just keep putting it off until things were perfect.
It's better to get into action and do at least SOMETHING, than to wait for the perfect circumstances to come along.

I love this cover. I also love the last time through before the end, where they start playing 'out' chords during the fadeout.
Now THAT'S comedy...lol.

I'm not familiar with that term "out chords", but it sounds interesting! Did you mean those dissonant chords?
