Not bad for a bunch of Apollo refits, although, in my opinion, the Apollo-refit should have been a destroyer. It was WAY to powerful for a scout.

That little ship (I still think it's a destroyer) is probably my favorite TOS series ship. I always grab one up in starfleet command and I love the weapons loadout and speed in legacy.

Federation starships at their best. Comfortable yet capable of sinking teeth into the enemy. :) Why do the federation's enemies consistently underestimate starfleet. By now starfleet should be revered throughout the galaxy after defeating the dominion and dealing a heavy blow to the borg. :)

Actually, I have a tremendous amount of experience with this game, and the Akula can dish out ALOT of damage due to it's pulse phasers.  It has good ol' scout sensors so it can target with the best of them and it's goddamn fast. Not to mention it's cost-effective. I can usually take on much larger ships with this. It's like a precursor to the Defiant.

the suck single but own in numbers, i tend to be sneaky at times and create limited low point games, and go full scout, because most n00bs will pick say 2 battleships towards my 4 scouts, and then get get owned.

Because you see scouts have strenght in numbers, while their shields are weak they can maneuver alot better and faster than larger ships.
