To all you clowns who think these albums are the only ghood thing Incubus has ever produced, double facepalm to you. Everything Incubus makes is absolutely amazing, with MV and Crow two VERY well done albums. Just don't say they suck just because they prefer not to play Nebula, Vitamin or TMTYL. They made those songs before you kids were born. BTW, this album kills it.

I think the next incubus album will be when they track back to there roots a little bit, the title of the new album suggests to me that the time felt right to make an album that Brandon knew wouldnt be what we as old fans expected. no matter what i just hope they stay together and keep making music because if not now when is still worlds better than any thing else on the radio.

No, it's not that Incubus got softer. Most bands do as their sound matures. It's that they lost the funk.

As long as Incubus keeps playing songs from this era, and continues rockin' hard instead of releasing softy after softy, they'll be fine. Girls are always gonna love Brandon's "ballads", and there's enough of them to keep them successful forever. However, the band is talented enough to play harder songs, with more technical difficulty and more interesting chord changes and "hooks". I hope that they don't settle down into this sleepy phase forever.

If you think Science is the only good Incubus album, you were only into it for the sound and not the lyrics. The lyrics are the best part, and I love Science but I think Make Yourself and Morning View are amazing as well. I admit I haven't gotten AS into the albums after that, mostly because I've been distracted with other music but they still have some good songs. I'm tired of people bitching about bands changing, they had the same message all the way.

i know incubus has always had their own style since the beginning and have changed after every album, but i wish, even if its just for one song, that they would use the funky, sleek, and smooth music more alternative/rock style a bit more often. i like change but i think they don't use ALL the elements that make them incubus. saying that though i will love these guys forever.

This is a great album; but I don't favor any album over another. Every single Incubus album is different and unique; therefore it is very foolish to try and compare them. Why is everyone saying that Incubus is practically no good anymore? Light Grenades had amazing songs. I mean amazing. Look Alive is one of my favorite songs of all times. Pendulous Threads sinks into my veins. Anna Molly gives a whole different feel than any other song. Bands are forever changing; if they never change, they will be stuck. No one wants the next album to be the same as the last. Incubus is still one of the most amazing bands out there.

In Incubus's last song "tommorrow's food" on their newest album a line goes, "there's no such thing as the good ole' days, the older we all get, the better we all were" I think of what people used to like about the old Incubus compared to now. As much as I wished they would make an album like morning view or make yourself, ultimately that would not be as good as I might think. "If Not Now When?" is the only direction they could go.
