urrr sooo lucky. I live in the blue mountains in Australia, and all we get is kangaroo. Rarely see them as they are nocturnal (do appear early morning and late evening) and chill in the dense bush around. Grey kangaroos, anyway.

deer have been photographed eating eggs and peeps out of ground birds nests.. i doubt dog food would hurt them much if at all since it is mostly grain anyway. Cat food has a higher meat content.

Deer digestive systems cant handle all the meat ingredients in dog food, it makes them very sick and weak.

Generic dog food is probably ok cause it's all corn. Good dog food would be wierd cause as far as I know, deer are herbivores. I personally don't care either way.

It's probably ok for them, especially in the winter now, maby they like the hard to get salt in it. Just don't give too much, they need to eat their wild food also.

I live in the catskill of ny and we feed them leftover dog food to the problem is they begin to tell the rest of there friends and family . We had to stop and slowly move the feeding further away on my property as there were over 70 deer and 2 bears looking for the food. Yes I think dog food is good for them but be careful you may be overrun.
