On December 24,2006 at 8 o'clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter.if you don't repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. sorry don't wanna die
We were somewhat annoyed at it's release at first (despite loving it). The whole track is a clear bite of Mc Mell'o' - "A Total Eclipse Of The Art". In 1990 the track lifted "Blind man can see it" and, more clearly, the whole 'tongue-twist' style that Das EFx pushed into the 92 rap scene (a style that was to be picked up on by many US rappers including early Common & even Chuck D) was almost certainly originally mustered by Mc Mell'o'.
This rap style is particularly evident in "total eclipse", ironically, a track about unoriginality in music. Still, Das Efx developed it in a different maner.. but! credit where credit is due. Many UK rap acts created styles of music that were later adopted by US rap artists. Plus.. UK rap is the foundation for all 'grime' and other rap related genres that are current. For some reason this isn't often mentioned.
