  • I remember seeing this in 1978 when it came out. That was the style of a lot of cars back then -metal-flak paint, flames, mags, and jacked-up. The car looks very tacky by today's standards. It's in a corvette museum and a few promo cars exist. On sold on eBay for $30,000. Movie was like many summer flicks at the time. Something for young adults men out of school on vacation.

  • I love this movie.

    Thanks for posting this.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • I don't care how cheesy, bad, or whatever else people think this movie is.....It's Mark Hamill!!!!! He is so HOT!!!!

  • Dude I JUST now realized that the vette is RHD.

  • Dude, you obviously have the movie on dvd. Why not post it in pieces?

  • @TheReturningShadow if you'd like to watch one of my full movies then check out drunk movie 3000 which provides comical commentary. thanks for watching.

  • Such an underrated movie.

  • This movie is one of the 5 worst movies ever made (excluding porn). Also, the mythical Corvette was beyond ugly. The Trans Am with the Forumula hood was much better looking....

  • @bobwhite1146 the vette was hideous! It looks like George Barris built it.

  • @bobwhite1146 I actually saw this dreck in the movies when i was a kid. My mom and i walked out in the middle of it. This movie was so bad i wished i went to school that day and it was July.

    M.K.

  • Why do people record and post this stuff off their cell phone? Tonight, I will post a high quality copy of the trailer.

  • @MattArchives i reposted this i'll take this poor quality version down

  • I remember the junkyard scene. Peice of the car falls on or near Mark. I don't remember much of anything else other than the car was restored at a school and the car was stolen and eventually Mark got it back. I am hoping to see the movie again. I haven't seen any part of it in a decade or more.

  • @chevymtrsport well your inluck sir because the dvd is available and you can also watch it instantly on netlix

  • a right hand drive corvette? I didn't remember that. the only thing that I remember was the hood scoop. half was pointing forward, the other half back

  • Oh look it's Luke in an x-wing corvette

  • wow,,,

  • I always wanted a car like that.

  • I remember going to the movies to see this because Luke Skywalker was in it. Really dug it.

I didn't remember how bad movie trailers used to be. Yikes!

  • Hi love this movie whatching it right now ! i did not now for years one of the 2 cars made for the movie was just 2 hours from me in il. at a dealer ! i just looked it up and they sold it ! for $105.000.00 they hav a deathrace 2000 car too!!

  • I love this movie! One of my all time favs. Couldn't wait to see it when it came out when I was a kid. Dad took us to the drive-in to see it. I loved the beginning when Mark Hamill first found/saved it from the junkyard. Made me want a Vette so badly!

  • Mark Hamill-lol!

  • HOW IS THIS TRAILER IN 720 P ?.

  • I love this movie! Wish it were on Blu Ray!

  • Love the audio overdubs made for the trailer that arent even Mhamill's voice at :020 lol

Still, one of the most onderrated cult movies of all time.

  • This movie is great. A true classic! And the cars are just freakin' bad ass . . .

  • This is a Classic like C&C Company. I remember he got parts from the junkyard and built the car from the grown up.

  • They should remake this movie...

  • @Suprahajimoto yeah they sould my dad has an 85
