  • IS THAT JOHNNY DEPPP........

  • I really like what john is doing for the Music... but damn... I guess i'm gonna learn alot of country licks now

  • i was there and was SO impressed.

  • Hes just going where he wants to musically without worrying about what anyone else thinks, i think thats the best mentality for a musician to have. Wish more musicians did that instead of trying to please fans by making the same record over and over!

  • @freexfalling1 AMEN!!

  • @freexfalling1 you said it man if your never going somewhere then your going nowhere and after a while people wont want to follow someone thats standing still. Its a sin that people dont realize this.

  • adore this song, ahhhh... so excited for born and raised!

  • tons of youtube guitarist let john eat they're dust...

  • @andreastrato so show them to us !

  • John fucked his creditability by coming out as a Dave Mathews wannabe, and then changed into an SRV wannabe. Then he went out and got a full sleeve tat to give himself an edgy image. Now he's trying to morph into an Arlo Guthrie wannabe...

What look and sound are you going to go for next, John? Kim Thayil?

  • @WarmothGuitarist someone's hatin'

  • His hair is just...so...long......

  • Seriously I would like one of these, but, sharing with collectors, what about players, huh? Under the stars? WTF?

  • THIS MAN!!!!!

  • Normally I would be upset that John's playing cowboy music... But I love the man's music so much... He can do whatever the hell we wants and i'll love it!

  • @Cbluesrocker thats one of his old songs

  • @Bayo106 I know! Trust me... i know EVERYTHING there is to know about John. But his new record is gonna be a cowboy record.

  • @Cbluesrocker lol oh noo. well at least we can learn some new techniques from john. cowboy guitar yay

  • @zwebster97 lol no shit

  • I think john mayer is fantastic but when he goes into his spacey nothing really there music I think it's a bit self indulgent and boring.

I really love the more up tempo tunes on the live album, brilliant.

  • Johnny Depp, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Arlo Guthrie called and they want their look back!

  • This is a great guitar playing and getting better all the time.

  • SWEEEET!

  • he steals all his ideas from Andy mckee

  • @JAKE887 no.

  • @adidassoccer4 of course not, whose gona admit it publicly. Take it from someone who recorded him.

  • @JAKE887 john mayer became famous in 2000-2003 andy became famous in 2006 umm how is it possible to steal what hasnt been heard

  • @jak729 yes, sorry if my answer implied that john mayer got famous by taking melodies from andy mckee, during the timeframe that you mentioned, what i mean was the after effect after andy got famous, circa 2007

  • @JAKE887 Yeah... John's been around much longer than Andy Mckee

  • @Cbluesrocker i know but after john heard some of andy's stuff im sure he jocked him right away as did many artists not just him

  • @JAKE887 I'm a massive fan of both Andy Mckee and John mayer, seen both on them live twice. Could you give some examples of where Mayer copied Mckee? I would actually love it if he had, would kinda show some links in my mish mash musical tastes, but I can't hear it, could you tell me some ideas he stole please?

  • He doesn't know what to do without his guitar in his hands, he just massages them :) adorable!

  • ha! someone dropped an f-bomb right there at the end

  • haha, bringin back the stevie ray vaughn hat. too cool....

  • @freakayfreakayfresh haha thats exactly what i thought the whole time. XD

  • something about "organic, authentic, cowboy guitar" gets lost in the FOURTEEN THOUSAND DOLLAR price tag. ugh. #outoftouch

  • @jondotwoz It's a Martin, anyway. I'd rather have a Taylor, Guild, Gibson, or PRS before any Martin.

  • i need john mayer back in indy he needs to go on tour again this summer

  • nice hair, you look like Johnny Depp's gay brother

  • @glennc100 you're on a relatively hard to find JM vid just to troll?..

  • @paigerocks884 yeah, guess so.

  • He looks like Orlando Bloom here!

  • the 20s was a economical high point in the US, the 30s was the depression john.. just fyi

  • whats the first song?

  • @atrxroller stop this train

  • @atrxroller Stop this train.

  • I think JM nailed the point. Many factories and great brands lose the geniuses and the craftmanship that made them great over the years.

Few companies, challenged by many unfair compromises of a worldwide market, tend to forget their 'vision' and 'mission'. Very good people leave or are cut out by modern financial policies. And we lose the chance to see very fine instruments and creations reaching public.

Let's hope many companies stay true and top with their people and their work

  • great video - gotta love JM... even apart from his musicality, his mind is fascinating. a true genius.

  • @hershism musicality is not a word...

  • @TheTwistedmistr musicality is definitely a word...

  • @TheTwistedmistr What a douchey thing to write in context of what I wrote. Musicality is a word - it's a great word. And I've seen your page and can tell you like some good music which confuses me... because why would you want to stop people from using a word like musicality? Oh yeah, because you're a douche.

  • Thank you again.
