Hi Jakey, you'd have to be playing through a valve amp to start with, otherwise it would be a waste of time. If you have a valve amp and one of these pedals, then just boost the mid, treble and gain and it should get close. I had an old WEM 18 watt valve amp, and when I put this in front of it, it sounded as good, although not quite as loud as a 30 watt JCM 800. Hope that helps mate. Check out my other videos and demos.
