  • oh my...

  • Childreoukn klokmllnzk ko

  • Else ykk

  • There are good people in all Countries! But America has most of the bad, selfish, greedy, corrupt, evil, misguided people.

  • DEADLY SNAKES EVERYWHERE

  • Wow this reportage is amazing! Someone could tell me the name of the song in the background? I need it for a documentary!

    Thanks again!

  • Repent, Pray! God Bless you.

  • yay gillard taxes us for all now because stupid or naive people build in stupid locations or build inappropriate houses .and guess what... the idiots will still build there cause next time it happens theyll get help from the taxpayers of australia AGAIN! THIS WAS NOT A 1 IN 100 YEAR FLOOD !!

  • Brilliant!

  • @supaderp haha oh stereotypes... just goes to show how small-minded you are and that you hang on every word the media spews in your face

  • some Australians are so chill

  • it not rocket science or clairvoyancy to realise that if you build alongside creeks in tropical regions that are prone to flooding or have flooded many times before the past you will probably be flooded in the future and eventually be flooded in a big way .if you cant see that your'e a fucktard and should join a local council and develop land that mysteriously has been left untouched for the last 40 years.

  • @klick71 It's certainly not rocket science when town that were just fine have a 100 year flood all together and whole states are swamped. Look this is just Australia. We are the toughest of the lot because we bind together to put things right. Other places.. won't lift themselves up. Who knows what's next? You don't.

  • fuck americans they think anything catstrophic that doesnt happen to them is fake

  • @supaderp Yeah you nailed it right on. We discriminate races. How'd you jump to that conclusion? Just cause your known for a world of queers don't make it discriminating. Its just a known fact

Do all male aussies ride each other to school? because I bet you'd enjoy it

  • @klick71 you can't see into the future so fuck off mishugana!

  • @klick71 Well, I wander who builds buildings right on the cliffs and next to beaches, u troll. you'll probably get a nice blow hole in your backyard. too bad americans didnt learn much from their science teachers. then all of a sudden you realize that your house went down with the cliff.

Now please stop being a selfish low life that doesnt think enough to understand anything that happens.

  • @klick71 gee thatl be fun T_T

  • Hope it all gets better guys. Keep strong and don't give up. Things will get better.

  • During these floods, Australia's true blue spirit has clearly shinned through the sadness.

And to all those bashing Australia, I would and can go on and on, but I won't.

  • all i can say is... at least we still have beer.

  • this just keeps getting worse =[

  • should take a look at goodna. that place was a wreak.. the house i was cleaning out had like, the ceiling broken off and mud everywhere

  • @ufcrulesfedor . The what waters ?? So were the floods in Pakistan and the sunami in Indonesia also the waters of Allah ???

  • Now I'm usually all for jokes and shit but when it comes to things such as this, where people have lost their lives and entire houses I think it's a bit too far. So really, before you comment, think.

  • Our thoughts are with all those affected. It is a shame OUR GOVT has again shown how ineffective they are. Brazil floods - the first news release contained a promise to commit $425M before even knowing the full extent. Why must everyday Aussies be exploited by media/ GOVT to chip in - we do because it is Australian and its who we are. BUT, we are taxed 40%, have our aid thrown towards very sus govtsand we are accepting because we are asleep/stupid. Im sure Govt could have minimised impact.

  • @supaderp Dude wtf? Don't assume he's a american, and don't just go and trash Americans because of one fucking retard.

  • xxx

  • xxx

  • oh god. these comments below are so funny. it's like watching a comedy show. keep up the good work people. Izybellaz said that 'fuck off to Macdonalds where they belong' to american. how cute.

  • The house they go into is mine :(

  • @Conorinwonderland For realz?

  • @InvisibleKid6666 yeah mate

  • @supaderp I fell insulted actually bothering to respond, but seriously, you must have a serious lack of self esteem to post a comment as ridiculous and unintelligible as that. Its no wonder Australia is the laughing stock of the world.

  • i went to help out clean some houses today ? and i nearly died due to the stink of the mud and water together. it was horrible </3

  • I am Australian and yes what JustSomeGuyOk said did piss me off a little. But whats with all these comments now hating on his country? I mean Yes hes a stupid fucking prick for being such a dumb childish bastard posting something like that? But common, why get racist and start hating on America? Its not like all of Americans are thinking what this dick heads thinking? There offering us help for god sake! no need to bring racism into it gee's people so much negativity.

  • Why doesn't everyone that are on them, climb down off of your high horses. You hate him, he hates her...fuck, it's like being in the playground.

This is a tragedy. It happened in Australia. There are Australians living in America, England and probably most countries in this world. They and their 'foreign' friends want/need to see these pictures. They/I don't wish to read your racist comments.

Grow up, get out and travel a bit, get a life and a bit of perspective.

  • @PipsiCoola I'm in South America. Not much for a person like me to do. But I like the pool here! Pretty awesome CS players two. What am I trying to say? Every country has it's good parts, you just have to find them. :D

P.S I live in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Oh and for those who think teenagers and kids are dumb. I'm 14.

  • Hey Yanks, I got a question for ya? Hows your economy? didn't fkn think so, I work 2 days a week and you work full time and I still get paid more haha

  • who the fuck is dissin us aussie how about this if u aint aussie dont comment on this fucking video all you other countries fuck off

  • Nah trolling yanks ride "your mom" to school.. But in reality they ride buckets of hot and spicey KFC to school, because they like the burning in their crotches, it reminds them of when their uncles used to fuck them with the hot sauce bottle. The end.

  • @dodgyplonk ; xD, that made me laugh

  • Jesus Christ. Americans are such fucking assholes here. I wish they'd just fuck off to Macdonalds where they belong.

  • I don't get it.. How come no other countries are helping us? Australia is always giving to other countries. We give a lot to the other countries when they are in crisis..

Australia is just way to prosperous

  • @yesterday94 because no one cares about us :/

  • @wweconno =/

  • @yesterday94 Actually the disaster isn't actually severe enough to require extensive foreign aid.

  • @Wolfe2469 Not severe enough...? Hmmm...

  • @Wolfe2469 your actually a fag? if any one is the laughing stock of the world it is america, learn to spell if you want to try and make an intelligent comment you stupid hick.

  • this is fucking nothing wheres the bodies? you come out to laidley (murphys creek, Helidon and grantham), and you'll see some insane destruction. we had no warning of flooding. Every day since the flood there finding bodies every where, we had one washed up in our back creek.

  • @MaddDawg92 your pretty cool... DICKHEAD.

  • im goin down there for parkour trip, streets and stuff still good for me to train?

  • I find it disgusting that people can sit here saying it's our fault that we got flooded. People have died. Fucking disgrace. Also, yes we get that shit has/is happening overseas, and it is really horrible about whats happening over there, but this is the our country so of course we are going to be focused and even more concerned about it. It's just the way the mind tends to work. Lay off us, horrible things have happened, we don't need ignorant dickheads like you talking shit to us right now.

  • 1:11 lol just randomly jumps in pool then goes and talks to camera dude in boat! lol the floods r rlly sad tho i heard about this young family 2 young parents with 2 kids just moved 2 queensland a week before and thr house got wiped out, and they r missing :( pretty sad

  • 0:48 :o

  • @supaderp;) like your reply supaderp!

  • Its so sad how most Australians always try to dig up some excuse for false patriotism, there's plenty of comments here to suggest that.

  • why do some of you americans make fun of this tradgedy, we didnt make fun of september 11th so why do u make fun of this?

  • sarah marshall lol

  • It went from Brizvegas to Brizvenice in a few short days...

  • Why are we all fighting here? what ever happend to world peace. Seriously you guys need to stop acting tuff behind a keyboard. Every freaking video i look at with the Australian floods is racist shit and fighting and it just shows how many assholes are in this world, Keep it strong Queensland! Im an Aussie and im proud of it!

  • @partypooperr Fuck yeah!!!

  • IM SICK OF THIS GAY FLOOD DOMINATING THE AUSSIE MEDIA I MEAN WHO GIVES A FUCK? THE BRAZIL FLOOD HAS KILLED HUNDREDS MORE WHY NO COVERAGE? MAYBE NOT ENOUGH RATINGS SLASH DOLLARS UP FOR GRABS.IF PACKER IS SO CONCERNED WHY DOESN,T HE DONATE A SMALL PORTION OF HIS ZILLIONS

  • @trenchcoatflasha Australians care, that's who.

The reason they didn't show extensive coverage of the Brazilian floods is probably because in a situation like this Queenslanders are more concerned with what is going on in locations closer to them.

  • @MrDinosaurFarm also, The Australian newspaper has writen about the Brazilian floods, SBS has shown video and the ninemsn news page has a article, so don't try and say that Australia has had absolutely no coverage of the flood there.

I fail to see how money can be made from coverage of the floods, the only "profit" is coming from the peoples pockets, helping fellow Australians in a time of need.

  • @trenchcoatflasha

The people who care, cares asshole!

  • @trenchcoatflasha the aussie flood is dominating is dominating the aussie media because this is fuckin australia. call me selfish but i care more about my family and friends than i do about a bunch of south americans.i know there is a horrible disaster over there but we cant spend time dwelling on that when we have our own disaster right here on our doorstep.

  • brisbane got sm@shed. soz4own

  • this wild weather we are seeing everywhere is due to the earths magnetic field changing, the increased wobble and tilt of the earth, which is why we now have a new zodiac sign.

  • @Eonnn84 fckin hippie hahaha XD ;P

  • @Karrowt your the biggest retard going round at the moment. it is Americas fault for being the worlds biggest polluter you fat prick.

  • Pretty crazy, glad to see that people were making the best of it and having a swin and a beer. Much like the American way, only better.

  • the australian government needs to get their act together, they've put billions of dollars into helping other countries out of their disasters, and can only pull together 1 million for their own country.

it's amazing how strong these guys are being, their resilience is what is going to get them back on their feet.

all i can say is global warming is clearly catching up to us.

  • @snellmo15 they are going to put more money towards the flood relief fund when they get final figures :) thats what i heard the other day anway :) im heading out tomorrow to help clean up and give out free cookies ( 480 to be exact haha)

  • @snellmo15 How much do you think the airlift and army are costing the government? It is much better that the govt. provides in-kind assistance that only they can rather than just throwing money at the problem.

  • @snellmo15 "Clearly" I don't think so. All this computer modeling couldn't predict this flood and it can't even predict long term weather forcast so how on earth do you think it can predict our climate 50 years from now.

Of course if you are a gen Y then the brain washing you recieved at school has you believing in it but people who have lived long enough have seen it all before and Australia is a climate of extremes and has always been.

  • @cambo34 I managed to block out the brainwashing thankfully (Y)

  • @snellmo15 How is it possible for the Australian government to provide funds for flood victims when they are yet unable to assess the damage?

Get your shit straight before you start making claims that the government isn't helping us as much as other countries.

  • They are extremely happy for all their shit to be underwater.

  • How can anyone still deny that global climate change is real?

  • @blazak global warming floods i thought global warming meant no wate,r temperatures rising? usa, england and australia have had our coldest most moderate seasons ever in history . now cars and trucks are responsible for floods good luck with the bullshit you will run out sooner or later

  • I'm in Queensland and the devestation is just unbelievable. Lives have been lost, others have had their lifes possessions, homes/businesses, photographs destoyed. They have to spend the next year cleaning out, fighting insurance companies and if they can, then rebuild. Every families story is different but the whole thing effects everybody in Aus and if I can help out at all - I'll be doing that through the premiers appeal. Regardless of what the tv stations are doing.

  • I think its great to see people still find a humor in that situation but it would be better if they put some real story of someone who really get in trouble and being sad. it looks like they are dealing just fine and doesn't seem to need any help. no offence, but i don't get aussie spirit either. there wouldnt be mart or supplies, what's the point of having a beer or jetsking in there? to me it's quite weird reaction.

  • Floods Destroy Bundaburg = NO more Bunderburg Rum!?!?!? there is no more Aussie spirit...

  • i love how Australians are so resilient and cheerful... really makes me admire them. :3 i hope the floods get better soon. D:

    - love from America. ;3

  • IF YOU DONATE TO HELP FLOOD VICTIMS GET RECIEPTS . donations made at coles etc give those companies tax relief and recognition that makes them appear to be generous and compassionate, with your money.RED CROSS & SALVOS will give you a reciept .i have no affiliation with either charity nor do i hold any grudge with coles, just dont like big business taking credit for the average persons donations.

  • im sick to hell of every f@cking tv station and journo trying to get that exclusive report just for their own fame or ratings ,so sick of it that ive lost all sympathy or desire to give donations for help. dont blame me blame the tv stations

  • @klick71 That's just great ! what a champ you are , not! It is simple your a couch slug, if you werent spending your time Watching TV perhaps you might have the compassion to Help the so many who would Appreciate Greatly a helping hand . You may just start liking yourself after you do!

  • its sad. because soon people will get sick from the water . But i hope the best for them .

  • I adore the spirit of the Aussie people. They will bounce back. To the ones that lost their lives and to their families, I send my deepest sympathies.

  • Amazing video. Thanks for shooting and showcasing. Very striking the overwhelming sense that when the water recedes that huge parts of brissies will need a lot of work to get back to normal. Really quite the disaster.

  • The Gillard/Rudd government has been banging on and on about man made global warming and computer modeling if and when the ice caps ever melt. Did it ever occur to them to look at what might happen if the same 1974 weather were to return how a computer model would predict it's out come. No instead they have wasted tones of our tax funded cash on pink batts and desalination white elephants that most likely will be moth balled for ever and a day yet have no cash left to build dams.

  • @cambo34 dont worry they are thinking about it ands dams won't help at all. reducing co2 emissions might help but is it too late

  • Reminds me of the movie "The Road"

  • Any sitings of street crocodiles?

  • :( thats my city right there, i live like 5minutes from the city, and its soo hard to believe that all those street id walk every single weekend getting out, and now everything is just gone, but we will get throught it. R.I.P to those 16 :(!

  • how did this even happen?

  • @BrianPiano11 allotta rain :P poor qld ers

  • @cataback101 HAHHAAHA how was the london bombing huh? THank god aussies got that flood

  • @cataback101 Who was a yank? Not this producer! Clearly you wouldn't know and accent if it slapped you in the face!

  • @kamberwillow he was just a random american who said is the water alright

  • Who was a yank? Not this producer! Clearly you wouldn't know and accent if it slapped you in the face!

  • @cataback101 who the fuck is dissin australia about these tragic floods

  • @JustSomeGuyOk Australia doesn't care about you.... nor does anyone else in the world....

  • @JustSomeGuyOk, you have EXACTLY the same attitude Australians have towards others. Aussie media are simply NOT interested in news that happen in other countries. So... join the club!!!

  • @530832 yea but in america they are asking for it lol any guy with a clean record can have a gun!!!!

  • @JustSomeGuyOk Let me guess, you're an American? Funny thing is, America is full of ignorant and selffish people thus the world doesn't gives two shits about you.

  • @JustSomeGuyOk IF you dont care why are you on this video making a comment. Just ignore us then everyone has won.

  • @JustSomeGuyOk STupid loser Yank!! next time somthing bad happens to you.........lol - lol - lol.....Who cares!!!

  • @JustSomeGuyOk you are a total ass ok? Nobody cares and from all us from Australia "Fuck You"

  • @JustSomeGuyOk simply go fuck yourself

  • @JustSomeGuyOk We Aussies don't give a FUCK about you dumb yanks anyway. You all are so dumb, the Jews completely own and control your country. Fuck off.

  • @JustSomeGuyOk Then don't fucking click on the links you pig.

  • @JustSomeGuyOk YOU KEEP SIPPIN ON THAT HATERAID!

  • @JustSomeGuyOk tf mate tf.

  • i forgot about sarah marshall

  • 2:47 guy looks like Edward Norton

  • Please join 'QLD-Flood-Lost-Found' on facebook. A lost and found for personal effects in the floods. We are trying to make it easier for people to get photo albums/pets etc back to the owners. These little things can mean a lot in times like this. Help to spread the word by joining and suggesting to friends

  • anyone else find this journalist fucking annoying?

  • Mainstream media is disgusting, they don't report the news - they fabricate it.

  • Anyone else notice, when they went under the bridge and she said "Oh my goodness", the graffitti on the bridge said "OMFG"

  • this is really bad... when nashville flooded nobody cared.. the reason i say that is because im from there. we got on the news for a day.

  • dang Nature you scary

  • All of our water in Toowoomba is where it started and it went down the range and fucked up Grantham, it's just totally wiped out. Here it ain't flooded anymore, we're just cleaning up the stores and stuff.

  • @tattootigerchoc um was in flooded below the moutain range

  • @jordandcv What? If you you spell correctly I might be able to understand you.

  • @tattootigerchoc isnt there a huge mountain u hafto get up if your coming from the south and there is a town below it i was wondering if that was all flooded too

  • The journalist was pathetic. The video was only as powerful as it was because of her choice of words. Example; "Calm tranquility to this torrent". I appreciate that the floods are bad, and I mean no disrespect, but all the media is doing is exploiting this disaster for stories and views - just like the Victorian Bushfires. They were everywhere when I lived in Yea. It's disgusting.

  • @iGameRecord Hmm maybe, but I suppose you'd be complaining if there was no coverage of the floods.

The media plays a very important role in the disaster. It gives the disaster attention and means people are more willing to help out/ donate. They're are not exploiting the situation.

  • @aldireid I don't watch mainstream media for this exact reason. At first they were covering the floods as news - and rightfully so. It's being exploited now, and in a huge way. Wait til Sunrise and all those other lame morning shows are up there doing their 'Remembrance' shows in their somber voices, then you will realize it.

It's a similar pattern to the bushfires. At first it wasn't a huge story, then it progressed and everyone flew on down to Whittlesea. Australian media is filth, a cancer.

  • The Australian Spirit is still high, People from all over Australian rushing to their countries aid, I love how their cracking out beers, While working, Just floating around, Helping others insted of just being careful of themselves. Like Jordan Rice, He saved his brother and lost his own life, Thats what being Australian is, Helping others over yourself.

True Australians risk their life to help others, Proud to be Aussie I am!

  • 0:20 Land Street...

  • Queensland tourism 100% hahahah

  • The water still went up for 2 days after that, started going down yesterday morning :)

  • I'm in brisbane, spent the days fixing things, and the nights drinking. We'll be fiiiiiiiiiiine

  • You gotta love these Aussies! If this had happened in other countries (even the western ones) we all know how they'd be reacting! Australians are so much more relaxed and understand that there's no point complaining about it (or shooting each other), you just got to roll up your sleeves and get it fixed.

  • @MenacingPhantom I love your comment :P

  • I paid a lot of money to Chile and Hati but i'm not going to pay for Aus because of people on Xbox Live.

  • @rhyboy you shitcunt, it's easier to donate money than it is to make a video telling the world about this disaster. do you really think that someone like this hasn't already either busted their back helping out or donated money? fuck you and get some common sense.

also, i like the nice little queer, irrelevant intro. keep up the trolling asshole...

  • @MadCuz69 wtf? wasn't directed at the maker of the video you fucking idiot...

  • thiis iis scary n not surpriisiing. iimagiing thiis but all aroundd earth and a small number of people left aliive. left 4 deadd, surviive how ever u can or humaniity at iits extiinctiionn.

  • Fantastic journalism. Our city needs a lot of help in this recovery. Luckily, though unsurprisingly, its citizens are helping one another through this natural disaster. Good on you, Brisbane.

  • Great reporting. I wish Channel 9 had reported the facts like this instead of their emotional drivel infotainment. Again well done.

  • This is Australia. Feel the difference of the real world. A tragedy which made its real people (not of its old history). I can't compare tragedies which made people uncivilized.

  • CHECK OUT THE 13 YEAR OLD BOY THAT DIED IN FLOATING CAR IN VIRAL FLOOD VICTIM check my channell to see full story

  • @WBREnterTainmenT That is just low advertising and exploiting a 13 year old child's death for youtube views..

  • Great footage. Australians have shown the world they can be resilient and calm when facing disaster at such magnitude. We should be proud!
