No, looks do not equal speed...just a common observation, Subaru just hasn't really figured it ojt as far as styling goes, thats it. They seem like fine automobiles, but if I am going to buy something for speed I would like it to bave some decent styling thats all. Again, my opinion.

i think the gtr won the race, coz its like it has more power?, but if you compare it in terms of responding to turns and cornering.. its a bit heavy..i really like both cars, STIs are powerful too.. but its like its design is to quickly respond to turns and cornering...
Bad launch for the R34, never liked Subarus's designs, decent engines, unattractive styling always kills them. Nothing in Subarus history stands out as a "classic" to me, lots of boring looking cars, solid engineering it seems, well, except for that 2.5 Phase I and II head gasket failure issue...unacceptable :(

I don't car if they have a million horsepower, it sounds gay as hell. I'll take a 500 horse Z06 or a Challenger RT anyday over these rice boxes. That's just me though.
@mine1username Well I honour your opinion however I do love my turbos... Though The reason I take turbo over NA or Supercharged is because there is nothing better than lots of torque at high RPM. And all cars sound better at higher RPM (Who can deny that!) But your Chevys and Dodges have most of the their torque band spread on the lower RPM Either because they are Supercharged on NA. Sure your bigger engines produce more torque but you're spinning your wheels at the lights while we are takin off
@SivanTheSimeon - I see your point. I will say though that although I live muscle cars, they don't hook up well at all, such as your point suggests. I'm more into complete packages that were built around the engine. The Z06 and viper could use improvement in the traction department I will admit. Let me make my point with the GTR. Although I'm not a big fan of that car, I do have a tremendous amount of respect for it. Lots of power, lots of traction and no popping and banging. A complete package.

Difference:
Subaru = Stable car even if tuned for drag race.
GTR = Not so stable, suspension and drive train should be developed as well.
