I've got to admit it, Hitler did beautiful pictures. But the Vienna Academy of Art rejected him - twice. It was partly Hitler's fault for not having a school certificate (underachiever!).
But seldom has rejection changed the course of history. If he had been accepted, or found some other way to become an artist, he, his family, Germany, the whole world, and history - including Jewish history - would have turned out very differently.
When at school here in England,we were taught that The Fuehrur was a house painter (decorator). The Teaching establishment were Zion controlled back then 50s /60s.

invaded German territory on Germany's eastern border through 1919- 1933 and what was once German for century's became Polish territory. The Polish were forcefully expelling Germans from their homelands by brutal force through out the 1920's and 30's. There was a great amount of tension between the two country's. The Polish butchered and massacred many ethnic Germans, Jews, Ukrainians, Hungarians and others that were not Polish. Poland at that time wanted to expand its borders. thats why....
Jews warped our media by the 60's. I remember an article on Hitler's paintings. Jewish psychology experts were analyzing his art. One said, "See how he draws the people crudely, simplistically. That means he cared more for power and physical things than people," etc. (Nobody cared more for the Germans than he.) I found out later it's the norm for architects to draw people as simplistic ciphers. However, Hitler had drawn the people more elaborately than the norm. Always the opposite-of-the-truth.

i heard that the art school of vienna or something offered him an engineering degree because his architecture in the drawings were so superb. But they required him to draw human close-ups, which he failed at. he can only draw them at a distance or not at all. So he wasn't accepted. That's all.
Hitler defin. had talent, but even if He was accepted into the academy, he might still have clashed with their discrim. artistic standards.. He lacked the insight to see throught the hypocrisies and contradictions of the intoxicating, so-called liberating trend, and he would've been stuck in the irrational , reactionary complainer mindset, than being inspired to rebel in a non-comprimising, yet, integrating liberating way-which would've inspired others He would've left and been a Nazi anyways.
We try to boil WWII down to monsters, monstrous events, heroes, and heroic moments. This art shows the small tragedies played their parts too. An artist rejected from art school. A generation of similar people; with so much passion, hope, and talent overshadowed by so much depression, suffering, fear.
I wonder how much of the psychopath and maniac was in himself, and how much of it was nurtured from the outside.

Did you know that Adolf Hitler actually never wanted a second world war. It was Winston Churchill and Josef Stalin that wanted the war. Plus all the private bankers of course. Some thing they dont teach you in history class.
Well he wanted it to happen differently. He was the belligerent. He violated the Munich accord and knew the move into Poland would provoke War because of the ultimatum, and was told to get out of Poland once he invaded. Chamberlain was PM when war was declared. He made a separate Pac with Stalin so as to avoid war with the USSR. The Allies paid a heavy price for victory in WWI and Versailles treaty should they just let Germany move into Poland as they did Belgium in WWI?
@inmhstn Tensions between Germany and Poland were always high from 1919- 1939. Ethnic germans were discriminated, beaten, tortured, and killed by the polish for their ethnic backround. Not just germans but also ukrainians, jews and other minorities. Parts of Poland were once german territory and because of the treaty of Versaille these teritorys were now Polands. Even though it was german for hundreds of years with a majority ethnic german population. The poles wanted to expand by force.

His level of craftsmanship and drawing to scale of his buildings are very good so archetecture would have been a good field for him. It feels strange that were talking about a Nazi war criminal. I am an artist. If this is the work of Hitler I must say someone lied to him. His depth and composition are amazing also the buildings are drawn to scale. However I know That as an artist myself. Artistic ability does not make the man. It is just a talent.
Personally he killed probably a half dozen of so French and British soldiers during World War One as a German corporal. Not to mention whatever other horrors he witnessed or took part in.
These are nice paintings. Its a shame that more people didn't support him in his artistic endeavors. If they had, then perhaps he would have chosen a different path in life.

i heard that the art school of vienna or something offered him an engineering degree because his architecture in the drawings were so superb. But they required him to draw human close-ups, which he failed at. he can only draw them at a distance or not at all. So he wasn't accepted. That's all.

Hitler defin. had talent, but even if He was accepted into the academy, he might still have clashed with their discrim. artistic standards.. He lacked the insight to see throught the hypocrisies and contradictions of the intoxicating, so-called liberating trend, and he would've been stuck in the irrational , reactionary complainer mindset, than being inspired to rebel in a non-comprimising, yet, integrating liberating way-which would've inspired others He would've left and been a Nazi anyways.

We try to boil WWII down to monsters, monstrous events, heroes, and heroic moments. This art shows the small tragedies played their parts too. An artist rejected from art school. A generation of similar people; with so much passion, hope, and talent overshadowed by so much depression, suffering, fear.
I wonder how much of the psychopath and maniac was in himself, and how much of it was nurtured from the outside.
I wonder if there were the seeds for a different man within him, malnourished.

now in retrospect, i can sense a kindof hate, suffering, struggling, within hitlers pictures, like he was strugglinng to "get it right" maybe a perfectionist that moved into the direction of anger and perhaps with an aspiration to "be someone" to be known, in history, a desire to be a historic person, maybe he enjoyed his power and control and maybe he was driven by revenge, what was his ultimate goal, if had one? to be like a "great conqueror"? megalomania? might? power? fear of being seen?

we live now in a surveillance society, people, or just me, are being watched by other people through computer, mobile phone, bus and shop cameras etc, they want to keep it secret but i know they watch me, it can be kindof difficult at times to be aware of their judgements and points of views

after ww1 some dumb ass artists in france moved away from landscape portraits and to a crapy version of abstract art, where u could not even recodnize or make out the landscape features, so ofcourse everyone that still painted realistically was looked down on as less able, its stupid, that even the artist community thinks like that bc every person creates art differntly but even in my art classes there are still ppl that think certain art is better then other art or that landscape isnt intelectu

meine frage bezog sich auf die oben genannten aussagen. womit also habe ich was verleumdet? ich habe eine allgemein gültige aussage (in diesem fall aus piecalkiewicz´s luftkrieg/seekrieg/krieg der panzer) hier eingebracht. hitler hat die haltebefehle für in russland eroberte städte rausgegeben obwohl seine generäle für eine flexible frontlinie mit rückzugsmöglichkeiten waren. was aus den soldaten in den kesseln wurde ist ja hinlänglich bekannt.

A highly intelligent and sensitive young man, he probably became the monster he eventually turned out to be when he returned from the trenches of WW1.

Well he wanted it to happen differently. He was the belligerent. He violated the Munich accord and knew the move into Poland would provoke War because of the ultimatum, and was told to get out of Poland once he invaded. Chamberlain was PM when war was declared. He made a separate Pac with Stalin so as to avoid war with the USSR. The Allies paid a heavy price for victory in WWI and Versailles treaty should they just let Germany move into Poland as they did Belgium in WWI?

@inmhstn Tensions between Germany and Poland were always high from 1919- 1939. Ethnic germans were discriminated, beaten, tortured, and killed by the polish for their ethnic backround. Not just germans but also ukrainians, jews and other minorities. Parts of Poland were once german territory and because of the treaty of Versaille these teritorys were now Polands. Even though it was german for hundreds of years with a majority ethnic german population. The poles wanted to expand by force.

I'm not saying that you are wrong, but the way I see it is that Hitler conquered most of Germany's neighboring countries (or at least the countries Hitler thought should be part of Germany again) With that pace of conquest, it's hard not to start World War 2. Whether Hitler wanted WWII, I do not know, but he had war coming from the way he conquered everything

Kramixed I agree, at least one painting had a focal point. His landscapes are rather boring. And I agree with his teacher . His level of craftsmanship and drawing to scale of his buildings are very good so archetecture would have been a good field for him. It feels strange that were talking about a Nazi war criminal. The arts is something God gave the whole world. I guess Hitlers work proves that. Are you an artist?
