0:11-0:15 Kris was the BEST vocally!! It's interesting how the Idol-producers never let America see his audition, yet somehow they squeezed in this short group performance. Funny! Looking back on him winning last year for Season 8, Kris was just another college student before Idol. It's so awesome to see how God catipulted a worship leader onto the show like this and he WON. Kris Allen and Carrie Underwood are the BEST American Idols...oh, and Jordin too :)

He was on American Idol season 8. I believe then he made the top 24 but was let go because it was leaked. Then he stated he was from Arizona. This season he's from Utah. I think they really start to check the applications in Hollywood for omisions, lies, etc. Maybe he wasn't completely honest. No one mentions he was on before. Maybe he's been banned from American Idol for life. He better try America's Got Talent. I think he is a really good singer and would make the top 10 if allowed.

Come on ppl, Justin a BETTER singer than Kris Allen? Please! There is a VALID reason he was cut from AI8. He wasn't good enough then and probably didn't show much of a personality to make him memorable.

I heard he has improved but I'm not totally convinced, even after seeing his recent audition. The leaked "Top 24 list" does not have his name so...

Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

omg I totally agree with you....and I remember this video cuz I watched it several times to see Kris...I remember there was some other unknown dude...then I watched AI this season and I really liked Justin....but they made NO mention he made it this far just last season...weird!!!!! I had no idea that was him even though I watched this video clip before. I didn't think he sounded as good here....but he was really good at the recent audition.
