I just got this phone and I have a few beefs.

No Flash installed. Cannot find a wm6.1 version.

No DivX, no streaming video and cant get windows media to recognize divx.....

No games?

No snes emulator that I can find or others. wanted to use scumm but there are no directions on the website, meaning its "only if you know what the fuck your doing"

don't know if I want to stay with my 500 dollar phone or switch to the samsung omnia (which comes preinstalled with divx and flash....)

I finally got nester to work. in the graphics settings it has "gimp" or "gmip" something liek that, you uncheck it, and it works like there is no tomarrow, its just hard to get used to the keys. im thinking about getting a bluetooth game controller to use while im out, something small that can go on a keychain.

@bastec666 Playing the NES, SNES, PX1, etc.. is EXTREMELY hard... The omnia doesn't have multi-tap function. So imagine trying to run and jump in a Mario game... I want to trade in my Omnia for the Saga right now! :(

don't, saga wont emulate ANY game system. Trust me, I've tried. The 3rd party support for the saga sucks. NES, nope, once in game the screen has a refresh problem. SNES, once again, gets in game, but has a screen refresh problem. PSone, NOPE, wont even load, black screen of death.

don't waste your money, sure its 9.99 now with verizon 2 year contract, but its not worth it.

Anyone know if you can get on the web if your off EV, but still on verizon? Other than wifi...I only ask because verizon didn't even know! On my phone now its called mobile web.

I can't say with 100% certainty, but that is how it is supposed to work. Certain 3G services will, of course, be unavailable, but 1xRTT data is still real data.

Yes you can browse the web if you are in a 1xrtt only area. The speed will be much slower than EVDO though.
