I saw him live two nights ago. Honestly, he had a little bit of trouble with some of the high notes. Painkiller gave him some problems, and he had to drop an octave in a few places. He still belted out some impressive high pitch vocals overall, but it didn't sound like the album.... in this video, he was at 100%. He might have lost a little bit of power over these past ten years.

Still a killer performance, though. Glad I saw Priest live.

The majority of singers are average to good on studio cd's and average to awful live. Halford just doesn't give a sh*t, studio or live, rain or shine, he can deliver incredible vocals no matter what.

I saw him live on this tour. Club was small and the volume was very high, but it wasn't the piercing guitars nor blast of the triggered drums, it was this guy's voice that was making my ears bleed.

very true, I was in Chile 3 days before and after this he recorded Live Insurrection, from then one he lost range and clarity in his voice, age is for everyone, utleast we have loads of material at his best. Rock in Rio, Live in Santiago de Chile ( his best performance imho ) Live Insurecction, Resurrection, Crucible and all the 1999/2000 bootlegs.
