Isn't the fact that JLR got into SAG the final nail in the coffin there? (SAG sets can run double the budget that non SAG sets do because when one SAG member is in the cast, ALL of the cast has to be paid SAG minimum rates.)

I'm not sure if Bree staying would have done any good to be honest. Her schtick didn't give her character room to grow much. Besides if Bree lives, we don't get Evil Sarah!!!
