Hey buddy SG, my new friend! Contrapuntals are what I do at the beginning and end of the song where I tap a riff with one hand while at the same time, my other hand taps a different melody. Technically speaking, it is having two or more independent but harmonically related melodic parts sounding concurrently. Thanks for watching!

nice one Robert...nice and relaxed,but dont get carried away in revolving around tunes that have the same context,its nice to use alternate open tunings but the lesson is there that the more we play the open models its quite easy to be repetative...I would like to hear more of hammer and pull offs in the next piece and build up the tempo so that the fret board gets pace and control. keep up the good playing and you know its great to experiment. Hey buddy Ronnie, that's some ear you have there. I actually tune my guitars with calibrated chromatic tuners to open strings and twelfth-fret natural harmonics. However, tuning is always an approximation since you can't achieve perfect pitch throughout the fretboard, especially from cheap guitars like mine. But now that you mention it, it does sound a bit out-of-tune.

The out-of-tune you perceive is probably due to the stereo chorus effect I use in the song (and due to a few inaccuracies in my playing). A simulated, artificial chorus signal processor electronically reproduces a copy of each note and slightly detunes it.
