  • where is the dramatic Part?

  • whats wrong??he's been folded up for 11months ;)

  • what is wrong with the legs of the foal? they are looking so bad :(

    but it is still cute<3

  • @sch0040705 There's nothing wrong. They've been folded up for 11 months. With time, they will straighten out

  • I can remember the time that my grandmother's friend's horse and my best friend Roxie gave birth to her foal Sophia two years ago after a history of miscarriages. It was sooooo beautiful and it was a hurdle for her to give birth to her foal after she tragically lost her foal, Toby in 2008 when she had massive colic. Roxie was exhausted after she gave birth since it was 3 in the morning. I was with her and she thanked me for helping her giving birth with encouragement with a kiss on the cheek.

  • At the end its so cute the mare protects her foal.

  • why is it rare to have a foal during the day?

  • @hnt1213 In the wild and through sarcadian rhythms, their natural time to give birth is early morning so that the new foal will be less at danger to predators and hopefully up and walking by the morning/day time :)

  • How is it dramatic?

  • I love how at 3:53 the mares shakes her head like "come one! get up!" absolutly adroable

  • Its nice that others mares and their foals were there too. Cute moment♥

  • oh by the way my horse will lick dirt looking for minerals she knows she needs.Dirt has purpose.

  • wish I could aford to own them all and have a place for them.Luckey you.Congratulations on them all pluss every new birth.

  • Dirt came before the horse so nature had provided protections .If not about every birth would die.Dirt in it self really doesn,t hurt any.

  • A "natural setting" does not involve walls and dirt. An open, grassy pasture is much more appropriate. That foal's umbilical stump is smothered in bacteria, virus, and fungus filled dirt (mostly manure it appears). Very well taken care of mares and youngsters though.

  • @76Morab not every part of the globe has the grass.Horses also live in deserts.

  • @7466309change Yeah, God made dirt; dirt don't hurt. ;)

  • @titanramfan yes and he made you.Enjoy you,re day.A little bit of dirt never hurt anything.

  • she is deffently a great mother congrats(:

  • thats adorable(:

  • This is a Work of Nature, Very Beautiful. :)

  • He got his legs stuck when he went down on that thing... so cute it's like " Mama my legs won't come up "

  • Whoa... beautiful music...beautiful horses.

  • It is so great to see a birth with little human interference (None I think actually) Thank you so much.

  • protective mama 5:01 XD

  • wow, love the music. do u kno what it is so i can get it?

  • Back end facing the wall away from "open land" and predetors and the mare is so careful when standing up not to hurt the foal, very good mother. You can tell she could fully develop all her natural instincts. Congrats, that was beautiful. :)

  • What a beautiful music! =)))

  • this is sooo awesome great vid! <3

  • The mare is a Hanoverian

  • What breed is that mare?

  • awwh , the mare looked experienced, and knew wat to do. so cute
