  • Well Yeah, but back then it was FF2 in the US

  • my childhood!!!! Q///A////Q snif

  • isn't there any orchestra playing this live?

  • I first played FFVII about ten years ago when I was 13 - 14 and for a long while I didn't get past the title screen, so awe stricken and moved was I by such a beautiful piece of music. Sschafi1, you have my heartfelt felt thanks for giving me back that feeling.

  • When I was a kid, another kid from the neighborhood invited to his house, and when I walked in this music ( a much older version) was playing on SNES Final Fantasy 2, aaaaaaaand needless to say I've been friends with that dude for 20 years now, what a happy memory

  • I couldn't find this on the download site you linked to... does the site still have the song or have I been looking in the wrong place?

  • @MMRED In the description of my newer videos should be updated URL links to two sites you can download from. The Prelude is in both of them =]

  • u do realize that this song was in ff5 right?

  • @shotgunguyy it's in every FF. It was the opening theme in the original. Uematsu just tweaked/arranged it in some way for each FF afterwards.

  • The harp seems to echo (or is it bass) in the lower notes. Usually, it's normal, but when I listen to it, it does "ehco... no echo... echo... no echo" which is kind of weird.

But this track is great, too bad the original in itself is a little too simple for my likings.

  • @YosterYoshi That's just an effect of the reverb. It seems to be more prominent in the lower range of the harp than the upper range.

  • =] Thanks
