  • I found the Nova mousepads to be great. Even their lowest gaming model is kick-ass: Raider. I like the clothy feel of the hard-rubber(might be a weird composite) surface, because it's uneven.

  • the QcK+ and the DeathAdder is by far the best combination for low sensitivity players, unless you can afford the extra price of the QcK Heavy.

  • Should I get a gaming mouse pad like razer one if I am a first time gamer???

  • What the heck

  • Erm... how about mentioning a company that specializes in mouse pads? XTracPads. Both Razer and SteelSeries are newer companies that are known to take the hose to unsuspecting noobs. I have a SteelSeries Merc Stealth keyboard that is complete junk, check my review. As well, I have a Razer Megasoma mouse pad that is also junk, it came in a nice package but to my dismay once unboxing, I noticed glow in the dark spray was roughly applied to the top, affecting tracking, junk. Logitech+XTracPads ftw.

  • @MultiSheepsheep It's not Razer's fault that you play with noobs. Quality mice and pad only gives you a little better, easy, precise aiming in FPS's. I have got an Abyssus and a SS QcK, and I can say that those quality stuff, like from razer, steelseries, or logitech is really helping me out with aiming in CS:S. But ofc, skill is the most important thing.

  • razers website is down :/ until 45 minutes from now then it will be up.

  • I use a 3 dollar mouse pad and a 5 dollar mouse and I still beat people with razer mice... problem, razer?

  • time to harass some ventrilo servers

  • You discovered cold water..

  • @Kaeden728 The control edition is better for high sensitivity in-game. If your mouse has low dpi, the quick is better!

  • I have a RAT7 what pad is good?

  • @VaiographyCA you want a white one because of the dual lazer

  • I got a huge mousepad in Thailand with a massive picture of wc3ft King Arthas on it, rubber bottom cloth top for 32 baht (1 AUD). Lasted 2 years so far. best thing ive ever bought (from thailand) :D

  • I wish I would have watched this BEFORE I wasted 50.00 on a hard surface pad.

Informative video, thank you for posting it.

  • Whats a good mouse pad to use with the new g400?

  • STEELSERIES MOUSEPADS ARE ALWAYS SOLD OUT DAMNIT!!!!>:(

  • I play mostly FPS games, I use a Razer deathadder, but... I made my own mouse pad out of wax paper, works amazing! Best of all it cost me nothing lol. Just tape it tightly to the table (get the air out) and you'll be surprised on how well it works.

  • I have been using a second generation Logitech MX 518 mouse on a FUNC Industries 1030 Archetype mousepad.

And it's like no combo I have ever come across.

    Razers included.

  • steelseries' razer counterparts are so much fucking cheaper and they do the same shit. bye.

  • g500 + qck

  • Gaming mouse pads are overrated all of them. Just buy a black plastic rough surface folder. Cut it by the middle fold. Clamp the right side so it's not on your way. If it's too rough for you. Rub some oil on the plastic and/or mouse feet. I tried the razer mouse and their $40 mouse pad in store and my homemade mouse pad performs the same.

  • Why do people keep saying X+Y=WIN!!!!

    SO annyoing

  • @GabSoh1

Those are kids who just learned to add. They cant be considered people yet.

  • steelseries qck and mx518=pro gamers

  • SS QcK+ Limited Edition Evil Geniuses ftw

  • qck NAVI + KINZU = WIN !!!!!!!!!!!

  • still Loyal to QCK+G5

  • if you like small mice which means you are fps player and probably good one then you must have roccat pyra. I tried over 30 gaming mice from 2007-2010 but since 2010 i live in harmony with my pyra which is just 30$. accuracy and control on that mice is fucking awesome. your counter strike aiming will go 50% up with it. i wasted 3 years with big name brands and wasted lots of cash.

  • Razer Scarab!!!

  • RAZOR VESPULA !!!!!

  • Razer vespula is nice

  • bullshit i bought a mouse pad from a yardsale that has a picture of a beach printed on it it doesnt move and has a rubber bottom and cloth top i also bought this 6 years ago aswell.

  • wuts a gud gaming mouse that isnt too expensive?

  • you cant even move a laser mouse on glass it wont register........

  • Steelseries 4HD - the only pad I've EVER been satisfied with.

  • i play lots of games and i use no pad at all.lol - just wood of my comp desk works excellent

  • I've been using a Qpad for years, with a Logitech MX518 on mouse skates.

The pad provided me with loads of kills, minimum deaths through the years.

So Qpad all the way. It's pretty worn down so a new one is in order. My advice on buying a good mousepad? Go to a computer store and ask if you can FEEL the pads. Take your mouse along to feel it and you'll know. Skates increase the lifespan of your mouse and make it run smooth, unless you're willing to buy a new mouse frequently

  • glide 7 is good ?

  • a. QUALITY. gaming mousepad...

  • ie3.0 + Roccat taito = King of FPS

  • cloth mouse pads are for people who normally use relatively low sensitivity, so its not for everyone. most people are middle sensitivity, so go with plastic and it will be easier for you.

  • Anyone got any recommendations for razer imperator like ironclad or vespula?

  • Razer Naga Molten Special Edition + Razer Vespula = MMO Ownage!

  • @MrMalthexD no lie i just ordered the same thing 2 days ago and im getting it tomorrow

  • i made one with cardboard and duckt tape final cost not even 2 bucks

  • How many Redbull's did you drinked ?

  • I have Razer Mamba and Razer Destructor...really good

  • Steelseries QcK+ is very good big and very nice quality i recommend that mousepad a lot :D

  • I prefer hard plastic mouse pad like Steelseries SP. The sound you mention disappears when you equip your mouse with Teflon feet. Unfortunately SteelSeries is expensive and wear out like any other hard material (still slower then soft mouse pad). Interestingly Teflon feet give good sliding effect with regular hard mouse pads, not only Steelseries. These feet also wear out after some time. BTW I like Microsoft Sidewider X8 - it fits my hand perfectly.

  • Strange, but I firstly noticed that sound You are describing after seen this video and You ruined my mouse pad (used Razer eXactMat X control), because I started to hate this sound :D I had to replace it doue to this sound!

  • Razer Deathadder + Razer Goliathus = Win... PERIOD!

  • @trttab123 Razer Mamba + Razer BlackWidow + Razer Goliathus extend = WIN!!

  • @trttab123

Awesome combo, until the Deathadders buttons start failing, like mine has. Now all the new ones have shitty sensors so I've been forced to buy an MX518, which makes me sad as the old Deathadder was a godly mouse.

  • @adam3088 Yeah... i think that problem has been solved in the 3.5 g version

  • @trttab123 MX 518 OR Steel Series Xai + Steel Series QCK+ = better than Win x100.

  • @trttab123 Does the Goliathus feel like regular office mouse pads or what i like a mooth mouse pad and i dont kow ikf i should ge tthe control or speed

  • @trttab123 screw death adder, mamba = win

  • @trttab123 i got the razor deathadder and deciding to get a razor mouse pad but dont noe which one to get zzzzz

  • @Billgates730 the razer goliathus is pretty cheap... and good!

  • @trttab123 i own first generation deathadder..........greatest reliable mouse i ever used for shooters you think, yur brain moves yur hand, BAM dea don everytime EVERYTIME as for the pad i need to buy goliathus cuz i was cheapass an bought the razer kabuto.......sigh.......enough said

  • @trttab123 Personally, I think Razer DeathAdder is better with the

    Razer Scarab.

Razer goliathus is soft and all,but doesn't fits my personal taste.

  • @zulrivers goliathus

  • I say don't buy an expensive one because it can happen to you the same it did to me, the mouse broke after 1'5 years. I'll buy a new one, A4tech, for 8€ and as long as it lasts 1 year it will be worth it. It was a razer btw.

  • anything razer isn't better than anything. i'd buy a $10 acer mouse before razer mouse

  • @jessec1988 thats a mistake

  • @jessec1988 thats unfortunate because i have a razer death adder and it is the best thing i've ever held in my hands. even better than my gf's tits..... <3 razer

  • @MariosGuy I have to agree ... the only thing better was .... my new gf's tits and the RAZER FUCKING MAMBA FEELS EPIC AS HELL!!!

  • @MariosGuy that really depends on your gf...

  • @MariosGuy your gfs tits must suck.

  • @zulrivers Personally i think the QCK+ is better and alot cheaper just alittle thin

  • @aznzero327 I've never liked the QCK+, they wear out so fast and when it wears out a little you really notice it. Also the friction changes a bit when it's humid out and that is very annoying

  • Steelseries QcK Heavy + MSI 3.0 = Counter Strike 1.6 pro

  • which mouse pad suits for Death Adder???

  • @133423q destructor. they were made for eachother

  • Check out new Artisan Kai.G3 mousepads

  • Razer Goliathus - Speed edition tracks well with the deathadder 3.5

  • definitely the razor destructor; the Steel series hard pads is a close second

  • Honestly I play Counter Strike 1.6 and the best mousepad for Deathadder user are Steelseries Qck, Razer Goliathus Control and Steelseries SK.

Favor Goliathus because I like the cloth feel very sweet mousepad.

  • @2drc Agree 100%

  • shuttup 3dgameman u suck. shut up and save utube from having to store all ure fuckin ueless video

  • cut the story

  • @zulrivers I have to disagree; the steelseries i-2 is the best I've ever used, and I know it won't wear out. G700 works perfectly on it, and I have to say as the first Steelseries product I've ever owned (along with my 7G being purchased a couple of weeks later), I'm very impressed with them.

  • @fpsBeaTt Dood thats exactly the same setup I have here. VERY FEW MICE WORK ON A I-2 but a G700 works flawlessly. The only other one that has worked without issue is the Lachesis but I can't stand how they feel and how two buttons are completely useless on one side (depending on left or right useage). All pad wear out except these glassplates, even the so called metal ones which actually just have a hard coating of plastic on them, once they wear you can sure feel the difference. Get an I-1/I-2!

  • @fpsBeaTt Also what works best is getting some fUNC LIQUID and apply it to the feet of your mouse. Let this dry for a day if you can, if not just till it looks dry. You can apply it to the plate as well but I prefer not to, if you use a plastic pad then for sure apply to both mouse feet and mouse pad. It will be even slippery than aunt Sushie's coochie. Use LIQUID once a week, the bottle will last for years.

  • So the surface type is entirely preference? Man I'm glad I don't have a preference for glass or metal pads because those things are expensive. Not much of a fan of hard pads. Besides the sandpaper sound it's irritating to the skin to rest my wrist on.

  • @zulrivers you, good sir, know what you're talkin about. I myself use the destructor several years ago, and the only other pad I'd recommend is the vespula which has a wrist rest. The destructor has lasted for hundreds of hours and have seen the mx revolution, lachesis, and storm sentinel advance.

  • it actually depends on the mouse ur using

  • @zulrivers Now its the Goliathus.

  • Cumface at 0:15

  • i kinda dont see the point in huge mousepads. i have a razer sphex and barely even use a quarter of it. with the DPI of mice these days you dont really need a massive mouse pad. that said virtually all gaming mats are massive anyway so you're stuck with something that will hog desk space (unless you have a sphex, as it's paper thin and doesnt get in the way)

  • What mousepad scratches the mouse the least and is the most durable mousepad?

  • It's called Razer Megasoma, everything else is just "Average".

  • dude im a gamer

    i have

    : Razer Abyssus

    : Razer Goliathus

    : SteelSeries Siberia

  • He said only Razer and Steelseries.. How about Qpad and Everglide?

  • I'd rather the Steelseries QcK Fnatic. :P

  • i use a 20 years old mouse pad works great the mouse however is a razor diamond classic v1. The mouse pad is a hardplastic mouse pad with a nice wallpaper behind it. The bottum is slip free, some water drops on the back and it will stick forever. The don`t make that kind off mouse pads anymore. So iam lucky to have one. Or still have lol.

  • You do not know the new generation mouse pad. A lot of mouse pad is the one like the clock that stops. Or, the product only of the gimmick. The mouse pad of a genuine orthodox school is here. SAMURAI gaming mouse pad.

  • xxxx

  • I want the Razer Ironclad but it's like $60. Guess it's a good thing that i can't find any online store to purchase it from.

  • R Destructor is good but the price to pay.... not too comfortable..

  • I use QCK+ with a Logitech MX518

  • Qck Heavy + Microsoft 3.0v2 500hz . enjoy :D

  • Comment removed

  • you talk fast lol

  • your all nerds! trololololol

  • hey ! i got the logitech mx518 gaming mouse, and i am wondering about a mouse pad.. which mouse pad is good for the logitech mx518 ? im also wondering on buying the alienware tact mouse.. what is a good mouse pad for the alienware tactx mouse, and the logitech mx518 ? and is it a good move ? from logitech mx518 to alienware tactx gaming mouse ?

  • Qpad CT large = epic

  • Steelseries qck+

  • Been using the same very basic cloth and rubber mouse pad for the last 10 years and it work quite fine for gaming. It is so old a part of the surface is some kind of dead skin wax, which make for a nice smooth surface for wrist to move along with low friction.

Only reason I would change mouse pad would be to get a metal reinforced rubber and cloth pad to be able to use mouse on uneven surface (mostly so I could use my cordless mouse on the couch =p)

  • This 1:49 my xp with my first crappy gaming mouse pad LOLOL

  • I have a 99 cent mouse pad from walmart. I'm pretty sure 20 of those will out-last a "quality, gaming mouse pad."

Of all the things to blow money on, don't let it be a freakin mouse pad. You're probably a douche nozzle if you do.

  • poor logic given on why you should get a gaming mousepad. Typical generic mousepads can be bought for $2, while gaming mousepads easily go $40 or more. I highly doubt the $40 pad can last the lifetime of 20 generic pads (20x$2=$40). You mention other factors of gaming pads, but not as a reason to get it over a generic mousepad. Also, a lot of it is just marketing gimmicks.

  • mionix alioth 400 ftw ..

  • I got a hard plastic one (It says patented tracking surface) that i got from my dad and he works at an Engineering company that designs and creates stuff for Oil Wells in the north sea. It has a large oilwell on it and it looks pretty awesome :) Works good too.

  • Qpad sponsors my clan and their softpads are amazing, huge thumbs up, also using the slicks they gave us it made the mouse slide perfectly on those pads, huge thumbs up!

  • thats why hard mats should only be used with high dpi, little movement = little sound

  • I have a pretty large mouse pad too! lolololol

  • were you looking at god when you said razer has alot of good stuff because it seemed like you would salute by that look at the ceiling...

  • i use a razer goliathus-control fragged edition. -large= which i think is the alpha version. i absolutely love it. its huge! and the material is unique in that it has a less fine thread hence the (control) edition. they also have a speed which has a tighter weave. both are great. just depends on which material you like better

  • i bought a steelseries qck für 10 euros a few days ago. its cheap, its fantastic. no need to spend 20+ for something like that. even the bigger qck+ goes for only 15 euros here.

  • QcK SteelSeries is awesome. They make some THICK ASS pads that last a long time.

  • Scary smile at the beginning, lol. The roccat taito is cheap, big and good.

  • the best mouse pad is french !! it's nova slider-x600 :D

  • World Of Warcraft Lich King mouse pad

    get it

  • are u on speed,?

  • steelseries QCK+ or heavy

  • whats glass like?! ive only had cloth and plasticish

  • @skaterobban just like matte, thick window glass.

  • @DenKulesteSomFins Whats glass? in swedish it means ice cream rofl. and Glas would be pretty weird XD

  • @skaterobban Whats glass? What windows made of, FÖNSTER is the swedish word for windows. jeg er norsk og vet hva glass (ice cream) betyr

  • @DenKulesteSomFins så det är glas ovanpå musmattan?

  • razer destructor...

  • OCZ Behemoth0.o

    cheap,BIG,smooth cloth surface,grippy rubber bottom.

CHEAP.That in combination with the razer Abyssus is my GOD-MODE!!!

  • i use the steelseries 4HD and there is no noise at all 10/10 if you have $40 get the 9HD

  • Razer Destructor FTW

  • Roccat Taito?

  • @alectoch

i got a taito and it rules

  • Hey Rod

  • the mouse on the background, is it the MX518??

  • @ik1371995 Nope, it is the G5 or G500 from Logitech.

  • My desk ironically is a better surface than the 30dollar pad I bought (puretrak talent) Perfect tracking, just the right friction for high sensitivity, and scratch resistant.

For anyone curious, it's the Bestar Prestige+ credenza. I like it so much, the next desk I get; I'm going to saw off a square piece of this desk to use it as my my surface.

  • @Shadar22

    I agree :)

since years, my mouse is always at the same place and made my table the perfect mouse-pad!

  • @Shadar22 i dont get it, cuz if u have a mouse thats hight tracking, why not just lower the mouse pointer settings, or game settings to fit ur needs on any mouse pad and mouse dpi

  • If we could only buy your desk from razor sigh...

  • @Shadar22 same here, I always gamed on my desk because its an awesome surface, but now its been worn and it doesnt glide anymore and I have to buy a mousepad, bought a steelseries QCK cloth mousepad but its doesnt glide good :(

  • if u have headphones on ur not going to hear it

  • As a serious gamer I would always prefer Roccat over anything else...

I do have some of the Razer products but I must say that Roccat is the best...

    at least to me :)

  • @demozjeh id like to read the reason of that please ^^

  • @izzo4l razer mousepads after a while of "hardcore" use tend to smoothe out in the center and wear off over time...

I didn't have those problems with my taito

I just washed it and it's like a new mousepad fresh from the package

...the mouses I agree are similar in performance and I chose the Deathadder over my Kone but as far as the headset is I think that the Razer Megalodon, Carcharias or Piranha don't give Roccat's Kave any competition ;P

  • Just to add to MR. 3D here that the better mouse pads also offer a life extension to your mouse life it self. I took notice at the bottom of my mouse after a few days where I would regularly clean it and it didn't have black stuff stuck to it or what not. (So where is all that dirt going? It is going on you pad, so I do reckon you wash it once a while). Another plus was that the mouse just glides.

    Steel series- Qck 12.6in x 10.6in

  • only use soft top, i used hardtop for awhile and i kept having to replace mouse feet >.>

  • Just got a Zowie mouse pad.. man that rocks.

  • it's stupid video

  • Lol this guy talks kinda fast in the beginning

  • go high sens and spare yourself 30 bucks

    small mousepads ftw

  • razer sphex ftw, for £10

  • RODNEY ROCKS! seriously Rodney, your reviews, q&a's, unboxings, are the best. Continue your great work!

  • i got a rocketfish brand gaming pad only 20 dollars and has a control side and smoooooth speed side...it works perfect

  • I can't decide between Razer Destructor and Steelseries QcK+

  • @lench4991 I hope you took the steelseries.

  • must... have.... HUGE... mouse... pad.... I love my xtracpads ripper xxl gaming mat! I got mine from xtracpads DAWT com and it pwns ! 3 feet wide ftw!!!

  • some pads are only like 6-7 bucks cheapo

  • does anyone have steelseries QcK ?I am goin to buy it and if s1 has it can tell me is it good

  • @Dra60oN i got one... its steelseries heavy.. its the best gaming mouse pad i have ever used... :) go ahead... buy one :D

  • @01ehaja hehe u missed for 1 week i bought razer goliathus control edition

:-)now only need a good mouse from logitech or razer but no money this shit country goverment robes on every corner so i should do the same but have moral

  • @Dra60oN hehe... i just bought a razer diamoundback 3g :) im happy with it... best mouse i have ever had..:)

  • @01ehaja does it have side buttons?

  • @Dra60oN Yes.. 2 on each side.. totally 6 buttons and 1 scroller XD

  • @01ehaja i heard it is really hard to use em just right now

  • @Dra60oN i got steelseries QcK.. its very good.... buy one :)

  • @01ehaja yes it is a very nice mouse pad. I picked one up about 2 months ago and i love it =D

  • @Frangoose smart

do you have the big or small one?

i got the small heavy mouse pad.

  • @01ehaja Mines the normal 12in x 10in. Its big enough and plus i go 2000dpi anyway so it doesnt matter much. Its more the smooth glide that i like
