@italia210 ehhhhhh.... not so sure... pretty sure this is just another surge drill... they dont risk this many units for a shootout... if somebody wants to kill cops, believe me they wouldnt send all of the nypd to their doorstep... if they shot a cop... well, the cops would be going 100 times faster than that...

@italia210 This is a counter terrorism exercise. A car from each precinct meets at a certain location and they drive past target locations that are prone to terrorist attacks (Empire state building and other tourist spots). It is a deterant, they aren't responding to an emergency.

You couldn't be more wrong. Intel has shown that attacks( such as the planned truck bomb for the Brkln Bridge) were prevented due to excessive police presence at certain locations. Before you make "retarded" statements about things you know nothing about, do some research.
By the way...Another attack was prevented b/c a recon video was found in AFG. that shows a terrorist sympathizer mentioning a specific site had a cop car drive by 3 times within a short period & Sec. Cams, as "too hot".

Its called a surge drill. They do these drills incase something like 9/11 happens again, they will be better prepared in their responce.

if it was possible instead of these stupid drills we should send in a Marine division it would be way more intimidating and make it more interesting. i would trust them more and while aprehending a suspect, wouldnt kill innocent people in the meantime:) these drills do absolutely nothing accept waste gas, cause pollution, and cause traffic, pointless
