All the batteries were there to add extra weight to the rear end.

Then the loud boom was the exhaust after getting off the gas peddle it shot a flame. It has a side exit exhaust.

@Alex050796 the batteries are for weight in the rear. Turbos are driven by the exhaust gases.

@Alex050796 the batteries are used to help spool up the turbo so it can reach 38.5 psi, otherwise it would takes forever for the turbo spool up to that much psi. they wired them in series so 7 batteries plus the one under the hood, they can now acheive 96 volts.

N/A engines sucks air through the intake manifold, turbos uses exhaust to "SPOOL" it up to repected rev to boost, superchargers uses belt driven to boost...and the batteries are for only electrical instruments for example ECUs, Ignition Coils, gauges etc....not for turbo SPOOL! How long and short it takes to spool is up to the size of the "turbo" not BATTERIES! Damn!
