I met him and got an autograph, on one the CDs my grandma bought for me. It was last night when I went to a free concert at a church in Olympia WA. it was pretty cool. I can tell he loves God.
@freakygirl92 Too all, gossip is an unrelenting evil that sweeps away all intelligent conversation and fear of God. It not only destroys the person who bears tales, but it destroys the reputation of the subject of this perfidious and malicious evil.
He came to my church tonite to promote his new CD that came out today. He was awesome. I got my pic with him and he signed my CD. Can't wait to upload a song he did at church. I was right up front too!
One thing i like about Jason Gray is that you can tell he loves the music hes playing. he really gets into it, i like to see the passion like that in musicians
@Jean1juan looks like a taylor, and all that stuff is a combination of left hand finger use and right hand palm muting as well as right hand finger picking
Jason Gray is so awesome! What an inspiration. When he speaks and sings you can tell that he really means what he says and sings. God Bless him! Keep on inspiring people! :)
This is my Favorite version of this song, Unpluged doing his acoustical version is awesome!!! I think its Awesome that K-Love brings them into the studio and turns them loose to hear the REAL THEM!!! Thanks K-Love!!!! :) Keep it up!!! :) :)
i cant believe how much that video makes me want to worship. every ounce of love he has for the lord is shown in those beautiful lyrics and just his body movements and facial expressions, emotions r put into his beliefs
God is Agape. We love because He first loved us. When you fall in love with someone, you can't control it. You start talking and acting different, and that's how it is when you get filled with the Holy Spirit. Time is running out in this world and people need Jesus before it's too late. There's no more time for fooling around. If you want God's best, you need to focus on Jesus. The world and its desires are passing away, but the person who does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:17
Father, Your Spirit blows through me saying 'Come" and Jesus the stone has been rolled away and the door flies open shouting 'GO'. 'Move' the thought has bitten me. 'Choose', I've chosen. 'Seek' and I am found. Into the abyss of Your Light I throw myself and in this Love there is no shame. May I live to bring you glory.
@BrianVinc That E Minor is because of the capo he's using. He's got a "Drop D" capo that doesn't cover the Low E string. When he has to play that E minor on Capo 2, he needs that F# on top, and that's what he's doing with his index finger. It's a cool way to play, but it's not easy to get used to. Jason makes it look easy. Great guitar player and a great song.
@kyleh0122 all i really do instead of buying a special capo is i just flip my capo around and it holds the 3rd 4th and 5th strings and the bottom strings i dont have to worry about bc in 3 of the 4 chords played they are covered and with the chord he plays around the capo i dont strum the bottom two strings, sounds exactly like his but i cant manage to tap the stirngs at the same time and keep a nice rythm, but im working on it. great song btw!
@Accerber2895 what Jason saying is that religion today is starting to get messed up. He's saying now that today we have to remember that Jesus is ours. and we need to fall in love with him, Because it's a relationship, not a fairy tale that we all read every Sunday. Jesus was real and died for us and we need to fall in love with him.
I respect how Acceber feels, but I use to live like that as well, thinking that I had to perform instead of letting God transform me. It really is like I am finally falling in love with God instead of earning his love. All that religion taught me was that I was always awful, always wrong, always one breath of pain. Falling in love with God has really made me understand that he created us for his purpose to simply love us and guide our hearts towards him.
@Coachrob36 We don't have to perform. We have to let God transform us, of course we can't do it on our own. But we have to put some effort into it.
We ARE awful and wrong. But we don't have to dwell on that, because after we repent God views us as clean through Christ's blood. But we have to see our sin as well, we need to repent of it rather then ignore it.
But I really dislike this song. (No, I'm not the one who pushed thumbs down) ;)
My reasoning? I could be wrong, but to me it sounds so wishy-washy and feel-good-Jesus-loves-you kind of.
Yes, God is love. But... that's not all there is to Christianity! God SETS OUT rules, and WHAT? We can't break them and cross them because "religion is just emotional" to us! Is that what he's saying??
Reading the lyrics to this song I'm almost disgusted it plays on the radio.
what rules? i thought Jesus came to set us from from the law of sin and death? Paul said everything was permissable. Are you saying that you need the 10 commandments to know what is right or wrong? Love will take where the rules never will. Rules stop you from doing wrong. Love motivates you to do what is right, and more.
@RousseauTerry Are you kidding? Of course we need God's word to show us right from wrong. Or else I could say
"I feel like God is telling me to steal this, and I can just follow my feelings. So sure! I can use this thing I steal to help people, so it'll be fine."
Or how about "God tells us to love one another, He'll surely be okay if I commit adultery with this person, because we both love one another!"
WHAT? Are you saying there's no basis for right and wrong and we need to follow our feelings?
@Acceber2895 I am not saying we should follow feelings. I am saying we should follow God. I am also saying that we are not completely dependent on the bible to know God. You have the HS in you, the HS knows the mind of God. "Mt sheep know my voice and they follow me. I don't follow a book, I follow the Word made flesh. The book has its place, but it not primary.
As for rules, we live by grace not by the law. If I follow God, God would never lead me into adultry. I am safe in His arms.
The crazy thing with Jason is that he has a very bad stuttering problem, I also do. It's amazing to see how God will bless people to get the amazing Word out
Hey guys check out my channel i got good music on my playlist i want more friends and idm like more channel views anyhow i luv this song its so true and peace

I was privileged enough to get to hear him in person singing this at the Make A Difference Tour in Corbin, Ky...It was amazing! He was one of my favorite performances of the night. He was amazing.
"Give me words, I'll misuse them. Obligations, I'll misplace them. 'Cause all religion ever made of me was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet. It never set me free, It's gotta be more like falling in love than something to believe in. More like losing my heart than giving my allegiance." - I love that!
Wat made me love this song so much was that... All religion ever made me was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet it never set me free. And i quit going to church because i don't need the religion to have an undying devotion to the Lord! =)
This song is amazing and it works in amazing ways. For him, when he talks he stutters and when he sings it just disappears! When I heard his testimony I started crying!! It was just to touching and amazing!! This song is definitely one of my favorites!
@SDAboy21 Living under grace is simple. Think about this: if someone treated you horribly, that is, habitually made fun of you, misused you, stole from or harassed you, or acted in any other offensive way, you might think that person would never deserve to be treated any better than how he treats others. God is not like this. He willingly treats us with utmost love, even when we don't deserve it. This is called God's grace. It is not earned or bought by our actions. It is given to us by His love
@Leifgreen- I totally see where your coming from. And here's the thing. I could tell you what I think grace is. you can tell me what you think grace is. my pastor or your pastor can tell me what grace is. but we dont have to guess because the Bible tells us. (by the way the reason why i asked what grace was is because the impression im getting from mainstream christianity is that grace is sort of a license to sin.) and Sonic fan 30000 wrote live under grace not law, and yes it is true. but....
@SDAboy21 I also see where you're coming from. And what a great reply! I've heard that saying, "grace being a license to sin." We know that's not true. And yes, you are absolutely correct that the Bible tells us clearly what grace is. There's only one definition for it, despite other opinions. Not only that, but the fact that we stand in it everyday tells us about His grace. God knows we're imperfect, so if we do miss the mark, His grace is ample to set us right again. Sin still harms us, though
Law is meant to protect us from the base instincts that rob us from allowing ourselves and others from achieving grace. There are no laws saying we have to be kind, gentle, helpful or loving. Grace demands those things for grace is the substance behind t hem all.
This man gets it!! Praise God for such AMAZINGLY true lyrics! It's like falling in love... absolutely <3 it! Thanks so much for singing and blessing us all with the TRUTH to the glory of God. Blessings! =D
I gotta admit, I'm not a fan of church or religion in general cuz it causes more hurt and pain than anything, but a relationship with Jesus Christ is something we could all use! ^.^
This song is amazing....i knew almost all the words but until i heard the studio version like this it didnt mean the same thing as it does now.....God is SSSOOO amazing and he gives such unconditional love....you really just have to fall in love with him like the song says. I thank God for his love, patience and blessings
It's kinda interesting...because most radio christian music isn't very good musically. And actually the studio version of this song isn't very good either but this version is amazing...just raw and beautiful. The passion in this song and purity of guitar and voice is just outstanding. The lyrics are actually brilliant for once in a while :D it's wonderful.
I did not grow up in church but by God's grace His love found me and I had given my heart to Him...through challenges in church life I have put up a wall between the Lord and me (trying to avoid pain). This song reminds me that the love I have for the Lord meets me where I am as it always has. Religion is like a stone tied around my feet but falling in love with Jesus truly brought a change in me. My heart is Yours Lord...come back in and love me to life.
I love his testimony where he says when he speaks, he stutters, but when he sings for God, it's like speaking a thousand words without stuttering :) He is so awesome :)
when i heard this song i was like "YES!!!" this is how it should be, forget the machine that religion has become. people have forgotten that god is ALIVE!!! god moves and feels and most important LOVES! seek the living god
It's funny how he has such a hard time talking, but can sing beautifully

@airstrike5167 We need to have a relationship with Jesus, yes. He needs to be our All in All, and nothing should be more important to us.
You're right, it's not a fairytale. Which is why it's not just all "Happy-happy-God-will-accept-me-the-way-I-am."
God will accept you after you're cleansed with Christ's blood after you repent, and then only. There are rules and regulations to follow too.

I know you all will probably hate me for that. Because you love this song.
But there's WAY more to Christianity then "I'M FAAAAAALLING IN LOOOOOVE!"
That's an emotional high. We need the solid Word of God to tell us right from wrong, keep us on the right path, etc.
This lovey-dovey thing doesn't cut it.

@SDAboy21 Nice to see another SDA out there spreading the word =)

@SDAboy21
Law is meant to protect us from the base instincts that rob us from allowing ourselves and others from achieving grace. There are no laws saying we have to be kind, gentle, helpful or loving. Grace demands those things for grace is the substance behind t hem all.

@MegaHidude123 not sure what you mean by that. But my first impression of that comment is confusing.

I love his testimony where he says when he speaks, he stutters, but when he sings for God, it's like speaking a thousand words without stuttering :) He is so awesome :)

A personal relationship is what we need with Jesus and the Lord. Not just believing him.
"He who liveith and believeth in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
Jason is singing that.
