i was struggling anglican kinda not really committed but i'll never forget this band duo that is. they left deep impressions on me and funny as an adult now i find myself swearing christ and god for eternity
I wish more of my friends listened to messages like this growing up. So many of them were total media sheeple. They couldn't find their own country on a map, spell their names, or recite any basic history, but they knew who was hot on MTV that day. Stupid is so cool. Not.
@odphi99 Look around on the internet for Youtube to mp3 converters, and you can convert it. Unfortunately I can't e-mail the song as it's on a different computer!
/SHyBC - add a goo and dot gl in front of the short cut - will take you to i-tunes where you can download the complete "Jump To Conclusions" albums; I would also recommend "Choices" & "Manifesto" which are my three favorite Farrell & Farrell albums which make a great playlist by themselves.
Wow! I have been searching for this song!!! I had a very stupid dance that I did to it. Don't worry, I won't show you... :-) Thanks for posting this!!!
I remembered this song from a long time ago. I searched in vain trying to find a tape. Then one day i was browsing the tape collection at a second-hand store- guess what I found!!!! I screamed, I was so excited. I now sing this on my walkman at the bus stops, waiting. People love it!
Bob & Jane were so cool. I played this tape in my walkman until I broke it. It's so funny... My kids had the same look on their face when they heard it as my parents did in 1986.
I absolutely LOVED listening to this song so much as a young girl! I have never forgotten it. I even got to see them in concert in Tulsa at the "Legends" concert, also showing Petra, David Meece, & The Ragamuffin Band performing recently-deceased Rich Mullins' songs. I will never forget the amazing experience....
I still love this album and Farrell and Farrell. I used to own several of their cassettes but this one got lost somewhere along the way. What a great band and pair of songwriters they were/are. SO timeless. Thanks so much for posting this.
What's surprising is, even someone who has completely renounced Christianity has found this song quite a useful warning about advertisers and tv-thinking as I've gone through life.
A really good 1980's pop song, regardless of label. Very catchy, crisp, and clever. It always reminded me of Supertamp's The Logical Song. Hey, no love for George Carlin?
Someone please post "Make Me Ready". I have searched for this song for decades. I remember it as a boy. I know it's not popular (even among Christians) to talk about "The End", but it's important to our faith. This world is not our home.
@AlphaEqual I can't post any more videos, but I have the song. If you shoot me a PM and tell me your E-mail ( and remind me what I'm sending lol ) I can send the song to you
Glad that a few people out there still love Farrell and Farrell
looooooooove this song!!! i heard this growing up and my dad used to act to the lyrics! its so funny and so true at the same time!!!

very good job on the video. I grew up on Christian Rock of the 80's and you matched the video to the song very nicely.

Thumbs up if you are a Christian who loves 80's music and can't stand watching TV!

Our drama team used to do a powerful evangelistic skit set to this music. Great message!
