  • Obama what a joke. Same bullshit different president.

  • What we need to worry about is keeping this planet alive so that WE HUMANS have some where to live. Without this planet we dont exist.

  • will people never learn? Not enough that they had to spoil the gulf, but they now want to do it again, and the same to the any-place that has oil. There are alternatives. Use them!

  • @chicgeekess the alternatives arent cheap. it will take us 100 years to get off dependence of oil. plus, the gulf is fine. the natural cycle of the environment takes care of itself and works out in the end. sure, the oil spill was terrible and killed many animals and jobs but the rewards outweigh the risks

  • @sming01 I dont understand how you can say that. The environment does regulate itself if it is not inundated with human polutants. This is why there has been so many extinctions in my lifetime( no Im not old)I realise that some of these would have happened naturally, but the scientifis facts are that a lot of them have been caused by humans.Nobody knows how many years it will take to see the results of this spill.People should stop thinking money and start thinking life. This is our only planet.

  • @chicgeekess planet has been here for billions of years. its not going anywhere. we need to worry more about ourselves then the planet

  • @sming01 What do you mean worry about ourselves? You need to worry about the planet because it is directly linked to our life. People with there simple minded ignorant views. How do you get your air and how do you get your clean water? The ecosystem, my friend, provides you with the life supporting systems to keep people and other organisms on this planet going. You think that the plants that you eat just grow for know reason or that the air you breathe just popped out of thin air?

  • God how stupid are Americans, drilling in the U.S. isn't going to have any effect on the price of oil. Seems like these conservatards forget that the price of oil is determined on the international market and increasing the supply by a tiny % would at best, according to the CBO, decrease the price of oil at the pump by a few cents. All this is about, is oil companies lobbying for less government restrictions so they can pad their already record profits in the last 3 years.

  • @govt takes more in taxes then they make from the oil.

  • Get it straight do you support offshore oil drilling or not?

  • a little too late Barry O

  • Once the $trillions worth of gold starts flowing out of Afghanistan into the the hands of the invaders all will be well.

  • @sarah95pekoe, the Obama administration approved the NEPA waiver for the New Horizon on March 24, 2010.

  • Think he was told he better lift the ban or be in big trouble for upcoming elections. Though I pray it won't matter, that he and all of his progressive communists are voted out asap. The US needs to get back to the only system that creates wealth and prosperity, that being capitalism. What do you commies think pays for everything? The problem is how to weed out the progressives, as they are in both parties.

  • puppet.

  • OBAMA IS A HUUGE DISAPPOINTMENT to black people everywhere. All he does is wave and play basketball and eat the white house soup. His daughters dress funny and are spoiled little brats and Michelle Obama is just there for a freaking fashion show. Bush did a better job in office. I mean at least he created the stimulus plan!!! Barack is a racist and doesn't give a crap about black people or even creating jobs. He is a failure and should be impeached!!! He is just an ol' white nigga in my opinion.

  • Lets double the already doubled world food prices yaya

  • 2012 NO VOTE FOR YOU

    not my vote

  • THIS WAS BEFORE PB HAPPEND NOW THIS PIG HAS CHANGED HIS MIND

  • Oil drilling in the US only contributes 4 percent of our oil, is it worth it? NO!

  • Comment removed

  • @gotmyfingerrscrowsed: Gee, that's so articulate.

  • Comment removed

  • @gotmyfingerrscrowsed: Peole won't take you seriously if you can't explain yourself. I would suggest getting an education.

  • Comment removed

  • @gotmyfingerrscrowsed: I don't really believe that you have degrees but at any rate we would only get 4 percent of our oil needs from drilling. At this point they have to drill in places where doing so is very dangerous to the geological structure in the earth. The Gulf disaster could have been a lot worse. All that makes the 4 percent we'd get NOT WORTH IT.

  • Comment removed

  • @gotmyfingerrscrowsed: What? That is a load of horse manure. The US is tapped out in terms of oil. They have to drill way deep in the ocean to find it. The US has nothing compared to the middle east. And by the way it doesn't affect prices at all. Stop spreading misinformation on this. And besides all that we really should be developing non-fossil sources of energy while we still have a habitable planet.

  • @judyleasugar97 actually there is a huge oil field in montana wyoming estimated to be 530 billion barrels, and Alaska has a ton of unexplored reserves as well. The difference between the U.S. and the Middle East is that the U.S. hasn't had to explore every last inch of land for oil because it has been cheaper for us to get it from abroad than to drill it ourselves. But the U.S. is a huge chunk of land, and it probably has similar reserves to, if not larger than, Canada (#2 biggest oil reserves)

  • @durhamdf sorry 53.9 billion not 530 :)

  • @durhamdf: All of that is irrelevant. Even if it's true, we need to get off of fossil fuels! It's destroying this planet.

  • @judyleasugar97 no argument here, there are a lot of good resons to get off fossil fuels. I would say the environment is number 1 and the rediculous cost of fossil fuel based energy. The only reason we haven't gotten off of fossil fuels is because the high costs mean higher profits for energy companies even if their profit margin is the same

  • yes then suddenly not a month later bp rig just explodes uh huh. at the time he is saying this halliburton buys an oil spill clean up company. hayward n goldman sachs sold shares weeks before the spill and obama gets his climate bill cap n trade. we all know such a scam. its hey pay attention to this and keep your mind of this. so now we see this... whats to say about 9/11. what outrages me the most is that us average joes and janes died in these scams. just pawns

  • A consolation prize for the majority that was against the passage of healthcare legislation. Approval ratings took a real beating after that was done. Ya gotta throw the little people a few scraps to bump up those numbers. I wonder what we'll get from his stash when cap and trade is passed?

  • Is he not speaking of future plans with new and safe technology? Not the methods used by Deep Horizon?

Oh I now see sarah95pekoes answer. So it seems like the Bush administration would be the one to blame if anybody.

  • 5,542 views? If it were Bush it would be over 5 million by now!

  • this is unreal

  • This guy has absolutely no credibility with anyone but the far left idiots who voted for him.

He lies about everything, passes blame to everyone else, hates corporations, hates America and whites, and well ... he is an lawyer. Glad he and his ugly wife made $5M last year. Talk about hypocrisy.

He is in so far over his head it has become a joke.

I mean, he states he is 100% behind offshore drilling, then the rig explodes, and now he is against it. We've done it for 40 years you idiot!

  • you know what happens when a windmill falls in the ocean? a splash.

  • Obama is talking about Green energy now ,

    that's the meaning of "CHANGE"

  • @hhg2 Obama don't know what the fuck he is talking about. All he is doing is reading a teleprompter, he does not have a clue as to what the fuck is going on. ( lack of experience, poor leadership, and out of touch) He lacks the managerial experience needed to execute the office of the President of the united States. He talks about creating jobs, but puts more and more people out of work. Ask the people in Louisiana! We will see his friends out this November and him, well we will see.

  • KABOOM!!!

  • Voted Nader. I stand by it.

  • america has now learned its lesson god punishes those who try to take over now look at ur country its getting destroyed just like iraq and afghanistan spend some more money that will sure help the economy grow

  • he's a fraud....today 6/02/10 obama "QUIETLY" lifted his three week ban on oil drilling and the federal government today issued a permit to a company to drill in the gulf....can u believe that...so much for mister hope and change...add to the fact he sent 30,000 troops to afghanistan and he gave 700 billion to the pentagon in january 2010 and he gave the pentagon another 60 billion last thursday...a fucking phony crook....AND I VOTED FOR OBAMA...I WANTED HILLARY

  • obama was responsible for the bp oil spill afterall. :(

  • @inconformant The oil well that's leaking in the gulf was approved by the federal mineral regulators LONG before March 31 when Obama lifted the offshore ban for parts of the gulf. Bush's earlier ban-lift in 2008 is likely responsible for the Deepwater Horizon well getting it's permit. Bush lifted that ban because Americans were whining about $4/gal gasoline. You get what you pay for.

  • How does he think anything is going to change?

He can't even keep control, um hello not enough people know about home grown energy and alot of people don't even care.. look what our nation has come too where people don't even care?

  • I can't wait til that man is dead and gone

  • Obama is ruining this country... actually he has already done permanent damage.... thanks, Obamabuttholeface!

  • We need to learn to obey Murphy's Law, "Anything that can possibly go wrong, eventually does". Wind and Solar power are the safest and cleanest ways to provide power. They are more expensive but well worth the price. Obama is becoming a more obvious talking head.

  • We need to learn to obey Murphy's Law, "Anything that can possibly go wrong, eventually does". Wind and Solar Power are the best solutions, and we need to pay the extra expense to be best.

  • Flip-flopper in chief.

    Welcome to Bush's third term.

  • Spill baby spill! Or should I say kill?

  • OK FIRST OBAMA BACK OIL DRILLING OUT OF NO WHERE? THEN elf environmental liberation front BLOGS SOMETHING GOING TO HAPPEN BIG ON EARTHDAY AND REFERENCES OIL? ON EARTH DAY AN UNEXPLAINED EXPLOSION ON OIL RIG WITH SAFETY VALVES TURNED OFF? THEN OBAMA WAITS 8 DAYS TO SEND HELP WHEN HE SHOULD OF RIGHT AWAY?

NOW HE IS BLAME CALLING BUT NO MENTION OF elf environmental liberation front? WONDER IF HE WILL TRY TO BLAME TEA PARTY NEXT?

    OPEN YOUR EYES AMERICA!!!

  • Obama is a parrot, paid for by the oil companies. How does drilling for more oil equal a step towards getting off oil? It doesn't.

  • @Uaz31 He didn't say it did, but you can't get off of oil right now - we are too reliant upon this fuel. I am not an Obama supporter at all, but I agree with most of what he said here.

  • @ross1962

I don't agree, we don't need as much oil as you think. There are alternative sources that have long been available and much more effecient and cheaper than oil.

  • @ross1962

The ONLY reason people like you think we are so dependent on oil is because the oil companies control the monopoly of energy and the media on it. They say we need it so people like you lap it up. If it were gone tommorrow we would still get by. Oil companies need to be put out of business and ma and pop stations for cleaner energy need to spring up as well as the incentives for them.

  • @Uaz31 if oil was gone tomorrow we would definitely NOT get by. what about all the people who own gas operated vehicles? What about our military vehicles in the middle east? Not everyone is just going to sell the car or truck they've been driving for ten years to go buy an electric vehicle. Most vehicles are still either gas powered or hybrid. Sure, the technology is out there, but not in the quantities that would be practical.

  • @KlivanRobert

Gas operated vehicles can be converted by government incentives to car manufactures into Ethanol burners or the like. Military vehicles can be refitted as well because we don't rely on the horse power as much now as we do the energy created. In other words we don't need to get the tank over the hill now we just need to power a machine which has the tech to reach over the hill.

  • @KlivanRobert

Ya trade ins could also be a idea for elect cars. Oil isn't practical, especially after this oil spill in the gulf which is the worst evironmental disaster in history. Dead fish are going to be beaching ashore for a long time, they just created a 200 mile or more graveyard of dead fish, shellfish, coral. Lost jobs, and because the oil companies want to make money instead of saving what environment there is left they don't blow the damn hole up with explosives.

  • @KlivanRobert

And just wait till that spill enters the mississippi river... They might as well be dumping millions and millions of gallons of raw sewage into the ocean.

  • @Uaz31 i doubt it could. The current flows toward the gulf. The gulf flow is sending it towards bama and FL

  • you f*cked us over

  • Remember the Bushisms? Now Gods steps in a clearly shows Obama is just the damage control puppet of Empire. Iraq gets worse, Afghanistan, rich get richer, poor get poorer. America is over

  • First of all look at the date of the video.they cant build a drilling that fast thumbs down!! on video.

  • he talks rubbish ... look at your coastline ... now look at it again ... listen to this video ... look at your coastline .... do u get it ?

  • Now that giant oil rig sank in the gulf, which means the drill pipe broke off way down under the ocean, is probably gushing an exxon valdez of oil into the gulf a day. This is why they had a ban on off shore drilling.

  • b.s clean energy they are going to start drilling and are never going to stop

  • ...guess the gulf/atlantic areas aren't as important as those on the pacific side...

  • president ()bama is on the right way and has done the right step for offshore oil drilling. is supported by " giant ()il prospector " omar bouzalmat "

_____the message is clear. see his blog * petroleonline. unblog . fr *

  • Thing is, oil that's drilled in USA waters goes to the open/global market & sells to the highest bidder, regardless of the nation that the bidder is from. Bidding is what determines the price of a barrel of oil & the price at the pump, etc. In a free market system, how can any politician guarantee that oil drilled in USA waters will stay in the USA? hmmm, something seems to smell.

  • @Tutilost

didnt they guarantee it with the alskan pipeline? funded by american tax payers dollars, now look where that oil is going. obama is a fool

  • This is because the Saudi's have been lying about the amount of oil they have left. This is why we invaded Iraq. The world is way low on fuel Mav. I agree with Obama we need to drill at home and leverage the fuel to produce a sustainable energy source. I think solar is the only real option. Lets get off our butts and stop paying 4 dollars a gallon to the Arabs.

  • @magnusschnell is 100% correct

  • Guess Bush was right again. Put this on the long list of broken campaign promises.

  • @Texmurphy51 Yup. "You the people will have five days to read a Bill that has been passed by Congress before I sign it." Lies. "We are going to get our troops out of Iraq. Not ten years from now, but NOW!" Lies. "I will not push for off-shore drilling on American coastlines." More lies. What can we believe he is saying now? I know George Bush wasn't our best President, but I don't think he even competes with Obama as far as 'To tell a Lie.'

  • @Alexr197 Now Gas is approching $4 per gallon, headed for $5. When Bush was in office there were cries about his ties to Big Oil & making money for his buddies. Where is the Media now on this?

  • @Texmurphy51 Haha, they're too busy trying to trash and smear the Tea Party. And when Obama flip-flopped on his campaign 'promises,' where was Keith Olberdouche or Rachel Madcow to cover that? But nope, not a single thing about it out of their traps.

  • why don't we focus on small businesses and get our unemployment rate down.......pissed

  • F off You lost my vote

  • So he lifts the ban that HE put on the drilling in the first place?... after attatching all sorts of provisions from his climate change agenda...and why does he say how we need more affordable gas, and attack the gas companies for "obcene profits" all while he and his administration have repeatedly said they wish energy prices to "neccesarilly skyrocket" and have admitted to wanting gas prices the same level as europe (pssst! thats 7$ a gallon)

  • @ProudSoldiersGirl18

    right you are!!!!!!!!!

how many people dont realize that the price of gas had a HUGE impact on our financial mess. Gas prices doubled in how long? I dont think population and consumption followed the same trend.

its all a pea and shell game, just like any other industry that handles large volumes of capitol.

  • the bad part is all the fools thinking this will do anything for the price of oil.

thats determined by the market, heck probably go up. i bet lots o idiots are buying in long before a drop will hit our soil ready to go.

  • Exactly my point good man! It doesn't matter how much land you open up. All of the oil goes to the companies, who decide how much to drill. If they say, let's decrease or stop drilling, the supply goes down and the prices of oil go up.

And it's not like there's no oil left to drill. There are so many other places, open for drilling, but which are not being drilled. Why, because the oil companies want supply to stay low and costs to stay high.

  • @Ivanntu

take a look at how much natural gas is in our country, already drilled, and capped off because of refining, plus not enough capital was put in place in r + d, of harnessing the power for our needs. take a look at where the oil in alaska goes. all that pipeline came compliments of the us tax payer, and look where the "spoils" go.

  • @Ivanntu

its all a game. anyone who beleives our country is run by corporations has had their heads buried in the sand for about 40 years. all you got to do is follow the money. why do you think immelt is on the advisory team or obama, gee lets guess, no GE lets guess who has a backstop low interest loan from the govt. AND stand to make a ton of money if C + T is imposed, not to mention goldman sax being the guys selling the credits for a huge profit, runing the tax like a commodity.

  • @Ivanntu

if i am not mistake the ge backstop loan is in the 170b dollar range.

  • @Ivanntu

look at the price, its DOUBLED in how many years? i dont profess to be anything remotely close to genius, but i feel quite comfortable saying that the population, and consumption hasnt doubled. it aint rocket science. its traded on friggin wall street aint it people? gas was like a horrible fuel to the financial mess

  • Look, if this plan for offshore drilling of Obama actually works effectively and prices of oil go down for a period of time, than I'm all for it. But according to a statistics that I'm looking at, proved oil reserves in Florida are only 75 million barrels.

And the oil companies would still imply the same policy. They will decrease production and supply and increase the cost. After all, it is not the US that gets the oil, it is the oil companies and they give it to whoever pays the most.

  • @Ivanntu

    BINGO,

you are right, however I cant see the price dropping significantly at all. prices are controlled by manipulation of the market. nothing more nothing less. prices go up when people buy into futures. the have the ability to control supply, which dictates prices. that hasnt changed.

  • Now the EPA is going to back-door Cap N Trade but look what else they do: The EPA certified that a gas-powered clock radio was an energy-efficient product under the governments Energy Star program, despite the fact that neither the clock nor its manufacturer ever existed. The clock and 14 other phony products were part of an investigation into the Energy Star program, which submitted 20 fraudulent Energy Star applications from four fake companies.

  • @dkkght46

gotta love that!!!!! its all a shell game. politics in our country is and has been just like pro wrestling. a good guy and a bad guy. only difference is in wrestling they change good and bad guys every couple of months, i govt they either do it every 4 or 8 years. and i think probably the same mentality encompasses about 80 %

of our population. ive been a npa for over 30 years. the dems and repubs need each other to survive.

  • Barry Soetoro=One Huge Lying Con Man !!! Tell me friends how many things has Barry Done that he promised to do

if we elected him??? NOT ONE !!!! Barrycare was a HOAX and written by the insurance companies !!! They wrote the

damn bill to cut there cost!!!

yes friends to cut the care we already had!! You see now that the Bill was fraudulently passed just some of the blatant

lies found inside Just as those of us AWAKE have been saying all along!!!

WAKE the HELL UP !!! America is Under Attack

  • WOW...

    "CHANGE?"

  • @treid100182 When he said "CHANGE" he was talking about what you would have left of you Paycheck after he was done.

  • @treid100182 hmm change is new, ISNT IT?!?!?!?!

    jeeeeeez

  • This guy was hand selected to be president just like all the rest. Junior senator from Illinois make president in only 1 term. Wake the fuck up! there are no Republicans there are no Democrats, They are all actors, the agenda is to stuff the pockets of their handlers. More war.

  • Despite claiming in his State of the Union that "we have excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs," President Obama has appointed 50 lobbyists to posts in the federal government.

  • The Prince of Fools has struck again. His calvacade of fools will eat this up. I still think he knows his shell game of health care reducing deficits is exposed. 10 years paying for 6 years of benefits. What will happen in year 7? He will be using this to show his critics that the revenues from this will offset any problems people have with his health care funding. How does the left feel about this? Or have they already been brought in on the gag?

  • If he ever does open up oil exploration, you can bet that the winning contracts are going to China, Russia and/or old friend Hugo's Venezuela. By the way where is all that Iraqi oil that all the libs said the war was about? Oh thats right it went to China.

  • he said the c word! COMPETITIVE! i know you liberal nutjobs hate competition

  • Nothing more than political switch and bait. Obama's on the Cap & Trade Express.

  • @MrHobbesable thats right if you don't think the people are going to pay BIGTIME taxes for this "new" drilling technology - guess again.

  • Now he wants to drill? LMAO. This is only because he got word gas will be 5-6 dollars a gal by next year.

  • Thing is, oil that's drilled in American waters goes to the open market & sells to the highest bidder, regardless of where the bidder is from. Bidding is what determines the price of a barrel of oil & the price at the pump, etc. How can any politician guarantee that oil drilled in American waters will stay in America, unless, of course, the govt. takes over the oil companies like it did the auto & health industries!? The road to socialism is big govt.!

  • @Tutilost

Ha ha ha, anything to shit on the first black President, huh?

Remember, if your gonna do some serious reaching, always stretch first.

  • @DaGanjaSamurai You mean our first RED president.

  • @dkkght46

Doesn't matter. How many straws exactly are left in your grasp?

  • @DaGanjaSamurai

Stretching??? There is no ban on offshore drilling. Why??? Because the ban was already lifted by GW in 2008. Nobody's shitting on the first black president. In fact, the only ones who bring up his race are liberals when THE AMERICAN PUBLIC disagrees with him. We're shitting on the president who has brought us closer than ever to socialism.

  • @jrsnowden25

    this "president" IS SHIT

  • @jrsnowden25

I never said anything about the ban. I'm with Obama on drilling. My point is that even when he goes along with Republicans on a topic they are rabid about, their immediate thought is of cloaks and daggers. How stupid is that?

Socialism-- read a book, sistah. Get to know the things you speak of. Nationalization isn't the hallmark of Marxism; abolishment of private property is. When that starts happening, then you'll be right. But here and now, you're just spinning your wheels.

  • @jrsnowden25

Less Beck and Hannity, more Will and Frum.

  • sounds like a rip off of Paris Hiltons plan. See he has the intelligence of paris hilton.

  • Well when your numbers keep falling, going against the 73% who do approve it what better way to try to win votes? If I remember correctly he stayed away from this issue and was back and forth, the strong supporter "Drill baby Drill" was a true supporter of this. BTW as a economist this is a great way to stimulate our current economy!

  • Gee Barry...lib flip flop much?

"...including those who say we should not open any areas to new drilling."

Golly, you mean like YOU DID DURING YOUR CAMPAIGN????

    Fuckin' waffle-head biscuit-lips non-American.

  • Goddam liberals are hypocrites. If Bush had done this the media and libs would be going apeshit. Obama does it and liberals just look the other way. Bush and the Oil industry! Bush and the Oil Industry!

  • You are not absolutely right here man. I am a liberal and I condemn Obama for this. I wanted him to get elected, primarily because of the climate issue.

When I heard that George Bush was going to do offshore drilling, I thought it was stupid, idiotic and just blowing smoke. I think the same of offshore drilling and now. Obama just lost one supporter here.

  • @Ivanntu

Your libfaggot tears are so sweet. Climate change is a scam.

  • Why don't you mind your own business. If you say this to an educated person, he is going to laugh at your ignorance. I even have relatives who went to the mountains of Switzerland, Italy, Germany, etc. Guess what. The ice and snow is melting away more and more every year. I don't know what scientific research you use to prove that there is no climate change, but I'll be glad to hear it.

  • @Ivanntu

how many environmentists, drive a suv rated to tow 12000lbs and haul 4 bags of groveries and 3 kids, all while living in a 3000 sq foot house, smoking cigarettes? tons of them thats who, because "my" little suv isnt spitting out that much, while millions more just like them do it thinking the same.

its a nobile cause, no doubt, we been making of people rich doing it, but it will only cause chaos financially, and has been proven innefective in 3 countries.

  • Barry Soetoro=One Huge Lying Con Man !!!

  • Somebody paid him, he had to bring up "economic". So predictable... no respect for this purple lip monkey... McCain was offered cash. "Scientific"evidence... ha ha... fuck you.

  • This whole offshore drilling is just blowing smoke! The USA has under 5% of the oil reserves of the world and uses something like 27-30%. Even if you drilled every single drop of oil in the USA, it would still probably have a small effect on prices. Anyway, there is already a lot of land, that is given to oil companies but is not explored at all.

I am disappointed and angry at Obama. I wanted him to get elect, primarily because of his ecological promises in the campaign. He just lost me.

  • @Ivanntu: The Truth is Prudhoe Bay Alaska has more oil reserves then all countries combined including Arab Countries, This little secret will come out. They have over 50 pumps hooked up to Jet Engines pumping the Natural Gas Back into the ground alone. The estimates are well over all reserves in the world! Why don't they use this oil? Well kids that would bring down the prices! 2: Henry Kissinger in the 90s under Clinton made a deal with the Arabs. We Pump no oil and they use American Dollars

  • Even so, Obama's plan includes, according to him, only 1,7 billion barrels, while the USA consumes daily 20 million barrels.

I also said that there is a lot of land already available for oil exploration, which is not being drilled. And don't you think that if you give more land to the oil companies, they'll just eventually decrease or stop drilling, in order to decrease the supply and increase the costs?

  • hahaha CHANGE for ass backwards thinking! Homegrown fuels and clean energy??? WTF no such thing! CLEAN COAL??? again WTF its an oxymoron no such thing as clean coal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Obama abandons yet another camapaign promise. hey all you eco hippies! you regret voting for hope and change yet? HA HA HA!

  • he is the biggest fucking liar EVER

    worse than Bush Jr

  • First off I would prefer he explore alternative energy more....but this is a step in the right direction.....our oil dependency is a huge national security issue....I dont like Obama.....but this is a step in the right direction.....good job

  • Thank you Obama! I'm glad to hear that you aren't just planning on drying us out!

  • Why would there be a ban on offshore drilling ?

  • wow here we go the oil companies have one NWO leaders are getting there way bahhhhhhh bAhhhhhhh EVERYBODY PRACTICE YOUR SHEEP CALLS!!!

  • This will really pollute our water supply. Also, that's why they blew the levees in New Orleans back in 2005, to flood the area out so residents would have to relocate, then give it a few years to start raping New Orleans for oil. Destruction for natural resources. Everywhere you devils go it's the same shit.

  • @kaiser0soze

Well thanks to strict regulation, off shore oil drilling is cleaner than it's ever been. It's not perfect, but drilling does not automatically mean environmental destruction.

I think we should focus on nuclear as a replacement for coal, and utilize 100% renewable energy such as solar, geothermal and wind in areas where each would be most effective on a small scale, lowering overall dependence on central energy.

  • It's this Obama nigga again. Hahahaha! Stop stealin and feed me nigga!

  • @LoveLifeRevolution Don't worry...We'll send you your 8-year "dunce" back to your local community...!! We'd love to see you squirm when he gets there..!

  • Haha...you're funny! Portland Trail Blazers -11 my gift to you.

  • @LoveLifeRevolution Anybody else cash this besides me? 5 grand. Easy money. Tax free.Obama isn't going to see any of it. Ya feel me?

  • @LoveLifeRevolution Anybody else cash this besides me? 5 grand. Easy money. Tax free.Obama isn't going to see any of it. Ya feel me?

  • This is no surprise. Follow the money and thats what side Washington will always come down on.

  • Good reading

  • That damn radical! He pushing an extremist communist-socialist-neo-Marxist agenda of...giving the oil companies what they want?

  • Comment removed

  • @DaGanjaSamurai LOL..!! You're a joke..!!

  • You know why he is doing this. The russians are drilling in the gulf of meixco. LOL you people are so funny. Libs and the comment "he is turning into Bush or sell out.

He has to drill or some other country is going to take it. LOL You people really don't understand how this world works. Do you. Sell out, Gitmo is still open. You people are dumb. Never NEver Never trust politicians.

  • I think we should just take the middle east, it's not like we don't have the power to do it.

Then we would own all the worlds oil.

    That's what needs to happen.

  • he burns the constitution @ 00:48

  • people this is so we wont have to depend on our enemies for oil. i dont want to give Iran billions every year. As americans we need to depend on ourselves not others.

  • @staichillin This is a step in the right direction....but it is funy also...Bush tried to do this 50 times but the Dems blocked him every time.....

  • Strange...republicans are always pushing for offshore drilling and dems have traditionally opposed it....

  • Not strange. this is a typical obama tactic. Gift your enemies with a beautiful new rug, and then yank it out from under them when the time is right.

Once the Govt has full control of our oil production and use, they will have full control of the tap.

  • When has he used this tactic before?

I hate to break this to you but the government has always had full control of oil production. It is a strategic resource.

  • @torak101 the govt has always had full control of oil imports and prices?

  • @GeminiAzules

    Who said imports?

  • @torak101 Obama did. If your asking that question, maybe you should watch and listen to the video from start to finish.

  • yes retard

  • @hereandnow6002 You called me a retard! That must mean everything you say from now on is true!

  • @GeminiAzules

Yea,the government has full control of the oil That must be why oil companies are the largest companies in the world.

  • he keeps rolling over and caving to the right wing, and the right wing will keep calling HIM an obstructionist and "far-left ideologue."

i think we need to be louder, my liberal non-democrat friends

  • need more nuclear
