Seriously, "An nou alèz" is one of my favorite albums ever, period. I've been looking all over for it and can't find it anywhere. Sa mwen ta bay pou rejwen li, tout chante sou album sa nèt anraje. This music was so real, the melodies were ridiculous, the groove insane. I think the "Nouvelle generation" movement a the end of the 80's, beginning of 90's was very special, it's like the 70's for Soul music, or the 90's for Hip Hop, we might never see something so authentic again, very sad.

I think that when they play kompa with this speed or this rhythm , it makes more sense instead playing slow kompa all the time.most of the times even musicians on stage can't dance because what their musics were too boring.

Beautuful video. The old zenglen is sooo much better! I remeber listening to this album in 1995 when i was 5 years old. My dad used to play it all the time in our brooklyn apt. I miss those days. Watching this video and listening to the song made me cry. I love everything about Haiti!
