  • MY FORD EXPEDITION CAN DO ANYTHING THAT CAN DO PLUS IT GETS THE SAME GAS MILEAGE.

  • what a beauty

  • im shure this is a SWS Prototype "Schwerer Wehrmacht Schlepper " for " Nebelwerfer".

  • i think its supposed to say Halftrack, not Haltrack...

  • imagine going on a family road trip in that thing

  • 4 of the soldiers got rolled over by that tank

  • Widziałem go w Tomaszowie Mazowieckim.

  • POLSKA NA ZAWSZE !!!!!!! and kick ass

  • I believe this vehicle was also used as a platform for a battery of 10 150mm rocket launchers (the Panzerwerfer). I'm not entirely sure though.

  • @Zdutchman123

This vehicle is far too large to be a mere maultier which is what the panzerwerfer was build upon.

This vehicle is an armoured version of the sdkfz 8 (12 ton) halftrack.

  • what a beast!

  • no joke is it the original , cause half of the others are OT-810 converted into german half tracks

  • Wunderbar I want one

  • I've always wanted to own a M3 and a Hanomag. I didn't think the Hanomag was this big, I thought they were smaller than this like closer to the M3 in size. I might be thiking about the 251.

  • The 4 people who think this sucks are morons. this shit is obviously awesome. they don't know what it means to possess a one of a kind vehicle from 70 years ago.

  • Zajebiste! Awesome! Wundebar!

  • What a beautiful machine!!

  • bang go two gallons of petrol....

  • Very strange one... Not an original vehicule.

  • it still looks from the future,

    respect to Germans.

Kilka miesięcy temu dołączył do zbiorów skansenu T-34, oby dwa pojazdy stoją koło siebie ;)

  • Fuck, let´s invade Russia again.

  • sweet ride

  • well done, must be fun to drive it around! bet folks get out of the way fast!

  • Track wear must be huge!

  • my guess is: its the sd.kfz. 7. with an thicker armor... it was an 8 to. Zugkraftwagen... originally designd to carry the 8/8 and 15cm Panzerhaubitze... and what you got is an 7/9 mobile V2 "Feuergeleitstand"...they are "gepanzert" to save the crew when firering the V2... one of the last stupid Nazi ideas in the last month of war...

  • What a beautiful machine.

  • Thats great

  • nice!!

  • its indeed a sdkfz 8 or 9,not a maultier ,maultier has a smaller suspension

  • Ok, this thing is just beautiful.

  • Wow! Super nice.

  • I have seen one of these Mautier halftracks up close. THEY ARE HUGE BEASTS!

  • whats it worth in cash ?

  • beautiful machine

  • nazi germany had created the most advanced technology in the world in the 1900's and all before the 1900's

  • @xXSauronXx2992

No. Actually, they didn't. And, they got their miserable racist murdering asses kicked in short order.

Stop sucking Hitler's dead cock, you ass-wipe.

  • @skeilak lol you fkn dumass, they had the most advanced technology and also you really should stop acting like a bratty ass nerd teen-ager and learn to understand Nazi's with a more mature view or maybe you are too young to understand anything this serious yet. good bye deletin all your replies without reading kthanksbye

  • @skeilak P.S the nazi's fought against 3 international superpowers alone, or did you not even know that simple fact. Fail, good bye deletin all your replies without reading kthanksbye

  • @xXSauronXx2992

Yeah, yeah... We've all heard your stale nazi bullshit before, loser.

Get some new material, clown. Your act is getting old.

Oh, and while you're at it, Adolf... We have these things in English writing, called "Capitalization" and "Punctuation". It's about making big letters, and those funny little marks between words. Learn that, and you won't sound like quite so moronic an asshole.

    .

  • Panowie, kawał zajebistej roboty odwalacie a to co tutaj widać to wspaniałe "bydle" :). Oby tak dalej!

  • I haven't seen such model. What is this exactly? :S

  • Awesome machine.

I have some center wheels on village near Wrocław in Poland. it's time to get them and start build my own Sdkfz :)

GunsIconsCom - Miltary and Historical Portal with Community.

  • what is it exactly? does anyone know its official nomenclature?

  • Looks like its based on a Sdkfz 7 chassis.

  • That thing is a BEAST!

  • @the82spartans, Wouldn't it be cool to see the beast in action, on open ground & just open her up.

The engine has a beefy sound to it as well, never knew that the germans had this in their ranks but you said it all...it is a BEAST!

  • A beautiful piece of machine!!!

  • I saw this advertised for sale on one of the UK "Tanks for sale" company websites that dealt with mainly tanks from Russia, they showed the owners playing a very old vhs of when it was running.

  • I never knew this one exsisted!

This one is new to me

  • i find it lovely that such a rare half track still is used to educate the public on the battles

  • Looks like a Prime Mover with armor on the sides... certainly seems big enough.

  • look like a mrap

  • Tecnical Details:

    Crew: 3

    Weight 13.500 kg

Engine: Maybach HL 42 with 74,6 kw

    Dims: 668 x 250 x 283 cm

    Max Speed 27 km/h

  • That is like, The worlds meanest truck. i want it

  • i love the way the tracks work..i dont like the looks

  • erstaunlich!

    große Restaurierung!

  • This Type of amored halftrack was produced between 1943-1945 as a replacement of the german heavy motor tractors to draw the heavy artillerie. Furthermore - especialy this type - was used as the motor basis for a mobile rocket launcher ( Nebelwerfer ) similar like the Russian one (Stalinorgel )

  • i never saw this one in my live before. is it based on the standard prime mover?

  • Constuktor of this type way the Büssing NAG, the official name way " Schwerer Wehrmachtsschlepper" Basis was the half truck " Opel Maultier". The idea behind was to have a armored heavy truck for small money ;o)). For sure someone had seen pictures of a half truck with 10 racks for the 15 cm Rocket launcher 42....this is this Type...roundabout 300 Trucks were produced till the end of the war

  • i think the armored nebelwerferlauncher vehicle was based on the maultier not this vehicle, this one looks like an armored version of the prime mover 7 series.

  • Weird though, the chassis is that of a half-track but the body is that of an armored 8-rad armored car.

    If anyone could explain...

  • Man that thing is just BEAUTIFUL...

  • Didn't they usually mount Pak AT guns in the models such as this one?

  • wow, what a BIG machine

  • hehe u mnie

  • WOW!!! Now that I have a hard-on. LOL Did I mention WOW!! What a beautiful machine. Really heavy too. Look at how its churning up the ground.

  • Front of the vehicle is different from the normal sdfkz chassis halftrack, still a pleasure to see an operational one good stuff!!!

  • Looks strange, like something is missing... but still a very nice job.

  • paintjob

  • That thing is great!

  • Wow thats a a massive Half-Track. What a monster.

  • Yah, the vehicle profile is almost as high as the Tiger tank....

  • very very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • shes the only one in the world!

  • Great work. I bet it needed more several thousend hours to restore it. Every museum will be pleased to show it to. Maybe you can rent it to TV and Filmproductions

  • NICE

  • That is BEAUTIFUL.

  • Pulled out of a river in Poland, ladies and gentlemen! Believe it or not.. :/

  • What's with ther overlapping wheels on the German armor?

  • the germans always make shit complicated

  • Actually, they were forced to this because they couldn't get sufficient rubber anymore to mount bigger and wider wheels, so the overlapping wheels were a neccessity.

  • No, all german halftracks had this type of suspension even before the war broke out, it didn't have anything to do with not enough rubber, this type of suspion gave you the benefit of large and small roadwheels.

  • It's fantastic. It 's certainly and obviously the only existing one.

  • No, it is based on SdKfz 8/DB 10. We got a few Opels in Poland - it is NOT one of them.

  • @Kampfkauz

It is much too large for an Opel Maultier and has the running gear of a Sd.Kfz. 8, which is totally different.

    Great vehicle!

  • @JoeFestus An efficient vehicle for SS Nazis like Joe Schweinhund here to use to invade, occupy and terrorize other countries with............I have my pliers ready to pull out the teeth, fingernails and toenails of every Germ man, ugly frauline und dumb Hitlerjugend teen/kid in the current Reich.

  • @Kampfkauz u can say rocketlaunchers....

    that means the same.

  • looks more modern the ww2 =) 5 stars

  • taken from the mautler base then being late war production?????

  • i belive this is the last of its kind. its quite sad

  • amazing, good work guys

  • how many are left?

  • Powiedz mi czemu to nie bierze udziału w rekonstrukcjach?

  • Jak to nie bierze;) Bierze! Sprawdź linki z opisu po prawej ;)

  • @reenactor1939 el no speako el spanisho

  • Isn`t it a Panzerwerfer Maultier? (there's a very similar picture at Wikipedia) Those vehicles were used as a rocket launcher, nothing about "experimental Luftwaffe".

  • No, it isn`t maultier. Check the link from the description of this video - see it in action. It is similar, but it is not Maultier.

  • I think you're right lupus25421, it is a Panzerwerfer 42 (Sdkfz 4) without a gun. And yes - believe it or not - it's based on a Maultier chassis

  • No, it is based on SdKfz 8/DB 10.

  • I've never seen this sdkfz8 conversion GREAT MACHINE

  • It was found in Poland in river Pilica, olny few of these were build, it's one of it's kind. :) It's German experimental Luftwaffe Half-Track, based on SdKfz 8/DB 10 with 12mm armor.

  • awesome , its related to the panther!

  • Hellz yea !!

  • Der Hammer!!!

  • Wasn't this HT pulled out of a river or dug-up a few years ago? I think it was in Poland and nobody really knew what it was.

  • Yes, this is it. You could see photos from this event here: [dot]skansenpilicy[dot]pl/galeria php?id=1 (YT doesn`t allow you to put links in comments). Replace [dot]with dots, and everything will be OK.

  • Nice to see that monster restored and running again

  • so great,so awesome

  • Absolutely incredible! Whomever found this and restored it, well done, this is an incredible piece of history. Awesome!!!!!

  • that thing is so sweet never seen this peice before looks like its made off of a sdkfz 9

  • Wow! Thankyou for restoring this so well! I guess that this is the next better armoured halftrack that the Germans were planning! Very cool!
