  • A fantastic forgotten hit.

  • EVERYONE was breakdancing at the time! I remember I was in 6th grade in '83, we couldn't wait to go to the gym to do the worm with a dozen of us!

  • I get choked up watching this, brings back mad memories, just seem like it was last week yesterday lmao.

  • saudades anos 80, onde eramos juvens e sabiamos realmente nos divertir, somente curtindo a vida e muita dança em Disco....., parabens e obrigado.

  • damn hundred lbs ago i used to do that lmao

  • hay recuerdos... lindos recuerdos... en mis tiempos bailaba bien el break

  • ozone is so hot and he is my friend on facebook! hes still going strong and is still as sexy as hell! love him so much! love thease movies! best of times! love old school everything!

  • I think it was this film that made me break dance....lol. I know I can't do it now. These times were so much better. Music seemed so much better back then too. Nothing about shooting and ho and crap like that back then.

  • Great song! Anybody know what boombox is at 0:34??

  • yes back then you wont get mug by gangs youll be breakdance

  • me and my cousin tererence james mckay made hip hop and break dancing live once again in regina saskatchewan canada along with my new crew of dancers led by myself and ms lisa heath

  • @behavingdark I feel you homie...

  • The motherfucking '80s.

  • "Breaking", es sin duda la mejor película sobre el break dance.

  • Bah whats the name of the chick with the glorious ass.

  • @IdontlikeusingLOL That would be Lucinda Dickey, who played Kelly in the movie.

  • Too bad we don't see the singers!

  • Ei Adriano,ci sono scene tagliate e aggiunte dopo

  • FORGET THE JABAWALKEEZ! 80'S FOREVER!

  • Minus the vocals.. this could pass as a "Com Truise" track :)

  • hello id like to know which song starts at the end of this one

    somebody please tellme.

  • am i the only one who thinks the 80's will always rule?

  • @bvg83 Nah it was THE BEST !

  • Memories..!

  • fucking awesome!!!!!

  • i'm happy to have great shit like this growing up, what do the new gen have today?

  • I have both movies!! Love them...wish I could go back to those times...that was life!!

  • Best Moonwalk ive ever seen!!! Break dancing F-ing Rules!!!

  • Best Moonwalk ive ever seen!!!

  • Poofs bboy movie.......FACT

  • @TheKevzero1 It shows how much you know you dick, go back to your Justin Bieber collection

  • @1305alz If you think this is a good hip Hop movie then I'm sorry mate but you're not INTO Hip Hop,just stick to your mainstream son.

  • @1305alz I know enough that this movie is typical American/Hollywood bullshit, watch Electro Rock(not the pussy's in this shit film)you may not like it cause theirs no love story.......say's it all really....Bboy 4 life.

  • @TheKevzero1 The fact that you saw a love story in this film and all I saw was a dance movie says more about you than it does me. I was into bodypopping, hip hop, electro rock and a lot of other types of music. And yes I agree that this film was a typical Hollywood dance film with a crap underlying storyline and bad acting, but I watched the film for it's dance moves not it's attempt at being a serious film ( and the less said about Breakdance two the better ). Peace.

  • @1305alz No probs,I know what you mean,I watched it for the breakin aswell, but we'll agree to disagree and leave it at that.Peace.

  • Pause at 1:07 Jean Claude Van Damme in his early days

  • the chic at :23 probably looks like somebody's grandma right about now. father time is the cruelest.

  • were they all bloods?

  • Put your *hand up* if you would give anything to be able to go back to those times. (My hand up)

  • I Bet I'm The Only One That's " Hip " To This Movie And Ollie & Jerry!

  • When the group is dancing on the beach, you can see young Jean Claude Van Damme dancing in black tights and clapping hands.

  • overall i luved this movie and soundtrack and i'm still dancing yall can see me in movie trailer "AND THEN CAME LOVE" i'm dancing next to vanessa williams,i also appeared on "RUNS HOUSE ON MTV" (OPERATION ALBUM DROP) and i danced on stage with TEAM BLACKOUT reggie pulledme on the stage i was also seen dancing in front of the stage, check it out its on mtv's website i'm also on mtv's "MTV GOES GOLD" i have on a purple hat in the clip, ciarra the singer starts the show off, awesome song&memories.

  • i met p.diddy at jfk airport in 1997 and he gave me the bad boy business card,he told me to call "lou" i guess lou tucker and told me lou wud take care of me until he returned to ny,diddy was headed to florida on american airlines said he wud be back in a week or 2 well lou didnt take care of me,he didnt even answer the phone, since i was shy i didnt pursue it,anyeay thankd p.diddy for the effort,i met michael jackson in 97 too while he was doin the history tour,he smiled &said hi shook my hand.

  • i dedicate this song to p.diddy, from bad boy because he made a documentary about dancing or it was an interview and he alledged that he got a lil rusted with his dancing, and he called his friend fatima robinson aaliyah's choreographer to help him out with his dance skills,i say once a dancer always a dancer, theres no such thing as getting rusted, take note from michael jackson he was in his 50's and still dancing, yall can see me in lil louie vega live on mtv's grind late 90's im in all black.

  • I can never get tired of this or the movie- BREAKING - go Ozo and Turbo

  • Wonder where they all are now? Especially the cute little boy in 1:03?

  • I was ten when this came out,,,wow what some ups and downs i have been through since then :(

  • Breakin' Theme lyrics

{Do it} {Hold on} Out in the street You don't survive by being weak This is our time Walls were made for us to climb Don't you try to lock us out Cause we're breakin' down the doors And all we're prepared to fight Yeah, yeah There's no stoppin' us {No stoppin'} No one does it better {No one does it better} There's no stoppin' us {No stoppin'} Really doesn't matter Na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na Long overdue No playin' game or being used Something to prove

  • the 80's rocks.... need more drugs....

  • Damn....actor Jean Claude-VanDamme at 1:09. That's so weird.

  • Yeah and no idiot droning 'huh, huh, huh, huh huh' throughout the song either.

  • black culture that is likeable

  • Thanx for posting this video great song. Agree with mrtel7777, all about having fun.

  • the good old days....they were the best days...

  • @ewing1975 I feel you bro

  • God this brings back such great memories of my childhood. I love 80's music, well, some of it anyway. The music now days sucks, in my opinion.

  • This movie is a classic within dancemovies. Although the moves aren't that spectacular as nowadays (like some ABDC teams or You Got Served/Step Up 3d), for that timeframe it was original, spectacular and fresh. Movies like Breakin', Beatstreet etc. are HipHop101. The HipHop/R&B scene, especially dance, would not have been that great without those icons from the 80's like O-Zone, Turbo, Boogaloo Sam, Rock Steady Crew and of coz, Michael and Janet Jackson. 80's dance rocks 4-ever.

  • Can I go back and spend one day in my childhood when music like this was on the radio. It feels so good to hear this song. The good ole days!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember this song and video.

  • still have this on VHS!!!!! What a great show

  • its in my IPOD!!!!!!!!

  • and this is how to breakdance lmao , lovin my travel back in time hahaha

  • 1:09 van-damm!!!

  • the best of 80's!!!!!!!!!!

  • Old School!!! Inocent Times back then. All about having fun;)

  • exactly, i fully agree. i'm glad that some one out there that feels the way i do. i miss these moments back then

  • @MRTEL7777 absolutely!!! There were no "advisories" on records. Loved this time in my life.

  • @MRTEL7777 Old school? Yes, I'm in full agreement, but "innocent times"?

    Nah! :)

  • Grew up to this and those moves are still alive in me. Usher, you can't touch this!

  • That boogaloo shrimp was awesome! However, someone somewhere knows what I mean when I say the baddest men on the dance floor were Messrs Mulenga and Mutakasha! Can I get an Amen?!!!

  • 1984 excellent. i was walkin with my camo pants & ghetto blaster back in the day.

  • Influenced my life and my skills are down to the movie. Hats off!

  • google: 911missinglinks

  • Hey Vybe, whos Sabrina?

Are u refering to the chick in this video? If so, her name is Lucinda Dickey.

  • best breaking movie in the world ozone and turbo and special k are three wonderful teachers who taught the whole world what break dancing is all about

  • Comment removed

  • Man, I looooooooved the 80's, and still do. Great memories!!!

  • ppl was dancin to this...yer mainly after breakin was releasd...werent just electro funk , it was a lot of grandmaste rflash, bambaata, jonzun crew, herc ...all of which eventually ended up in the pop charts. in fact id say it was more breakbeat style than any funk...funk sort of played a low key part of lockin as boogaloo (the main funk user) wasnt particuarly big in them days

  • @covfunky11035 i still break im like only guy in scool who does

  • in real life bboys weren't breakin to this cheezy pop....

no they played real electro funk & hiphop out of their boomboxes just like they supposed to..

    actin is 4 hollywood.....

style wars is the best hiphop movie that came out of the early 80's

  • @sweepee213 beat street

  • You might be right, Style Wars is the real deal, but for a kid like i was back when this came out, it's more a cheezy flick I grew up with that I can't stop loving, rather than reality. I still love the music and don't knock the dancing, it might be hollywood, but some parts are still great! =)

  • Thanks for one of the best posts on youtube, Dicarts. Awesome all round.

  • wonder where Turbo and Ozone are nowadays?

  • I wasn't even born in the 80s, but LOVE it!!

  • sweet memories.....

  • a classic ! all past time was better ...

  • turbo had gigs

  • 80s is the best! :) x Check that 0:56!!

  • what ever happed to the hot ass mexican chick from breakin 2 ??? she was the one who hooked up with turbo in the movie.....

  • Her name is Sabrina Garcia... so far as I know, she was in this movie and one other film called Body Rock. Breakin' 2 was the biggest roll she ever got. You will be hard pressed to find photos or videos of her.

  • I mean, she was in Breakin' 2, nit THIS film, which is the first one.

  • thanks

  • Sabrina is a married (and still fine) hottie these days. Broke my heart to find that out but I wish her well. She actually looks flawless now and has filled out her body even more.....if you can imagine that. I'm just waiting on her current husband to get hit by a truck......that......I might be driving.

  • i remember recording this back. great clip

  • 1:07 Van Dam groovin in the mid of them in back rofl LOVE IT!!!!

  • back when a movement its hard to explain how it made us feel.

  • i agree, i miss ol' shabba doo, lol...turbo too...this was when dancing would make you hurt yourself, go to da doctor, then go right back out and do that same goddamn dance that got you hurt to begin with, but when you did it the 2nd time around, you got it right and all da people in da 'hood would cheer you on , lol....yeah...da 80's, lol..peace

  • Wow, you gotta luuuv those awesome moves! Check out the 0:56 Moon walk!

  • Big time, that is pure WIN! :)
