What if your holding the knife in a 'normal' knife stance, and in all the slashing, cutting motion, stabbing type movements, the dam thing gets triggered ? It's pointed towards the one holding the knife ?! It must have a safety eh?

If and when the CQ gets to being a knife affair, fancy 'trick' gadgets are the last thing on your mind, the tried and proven CQB H2H training - muscle memory - kicks in give me a pointy bayonet ( even better if re-ground for sharpness ) or a secondary fighting knife - pointy & v sharp ) which 'we' all carried affixed in the most cases, under left breast webbing strap.

yeah great shoot at a target with a sharp knife as the butt. You don't hold it right you get a 4" dagger in your eye.
