this is way friggin easier on a rock band guitar all u need is the guitar and fof no stupid programs or scripts you plug the rb guitar in, go to fof, go to set controls and just press the button on ur guitar. hurr hurr

Tell me if its just me, but I have this working on a PC version of guitar hero and there is a definite lag between the guitar and PC. Messing with the offsets doesn't work, it's as if I need -10 for video offset which is impossible. Any ideas?

Hey, I've read through all the comments and I can't figure this out. I have the receiver plugged into my computer and when I go to CP-Settings > Bluetooth I click on Hardware and it shows my device there and i copy paste your script and press run but it still won't work, I press 1+2 and it the light blinks for a while but won't stay on.

There are 2 devices in the hardware tab "generic bluetooth radio" by "Cambridge silicon radio ltd." and "microsoft bluetooth enumerator" by "microsoft"

I have no idea which of these is the device plugged into the computer, since this is only a random bluetooth device my dad had lying around.

how do you set up the bluetooth part?

press 1 + 2 on the wii remote. The lights will flash and go into bluetooth pairing on your computer. when it asks for a code, press skip or "do not use a code". If the lights stop flashing at any time during this process, simply press 1 + 2 and continue. Once paired, the lights will continue to flash for a minute or so regardless of what GlovePIE commands, but then they will shut off and will be in your control :)

the esc key on the keyboard works for that, I think the problem was that there aren't any buttons left on the guitar to do that. I could make the A button do it though now that I think about it

FoF is so unstable, it doesn't need the Wii controller to crash, it crashes without it all the time for me. I don't think it crashes any more than usual with the wiimote though. I see nothing wrong with this code, and it works fine.

Plug the controller into your computer, go to the controls settings of frets on fire, click on the button you want to set, and when it says press a button, just press the button on the guitar. Make sure it detects and installs the drivers for the guitar first though.

well for the wii guitar you need to buy the game with it, and it doesn't plug into the computer. It's wireless. Guitar hero 3 for wii= $90 USD. And it's bluetooth so you need a bluetooth adapter for $20 USD.

It would be hard to find a desktop with integrated bluetooth! Adapters work fine. Actually, if you look closely at the wall on the right of the video, you can see my adapter taped to my wall (for better signal)
