Mikhail was not a watch dog, so he had no clue what Umbrella was really up to. He was given the same orders as every other member of the U.B.C.S. Nicholai, Tyrell, and Davis Chan were the only members of the U.B.C.S. who knew exactly what was happening. Mikhail, being the platoon commander, was the baddest mother fucker of the unit, though. That's my opinion.
