  • get rid of xfactor and bring this show back on.

  • @KevLancaster1 yup, southsea seafront and then some roads in southsea

  • Shit, a rug muncher answered the door !!!!!

  • It's not the opening I remember.

  • Brings back memories from the past, when live was simple!

  • i remember the 2nd intro ..i remember one episode ,they showed you how to make a hovercraft out of an old wardrobe, loads of rubber, and a flymo...lol

  • @KevLancaster1 Postmouth/ Southsea, can't remember!

  • Is that the same house they used for Rentaghost?

  • It was the sandwich making comp at the end that I loved!

  • Still wanted to this day for crimes against hair.

  • aah memories used to watch this as a kid OMG at neil buchanans hair lol oddly was just today wondering where he's got to used to love art attack

  • like the little rap on the 2nd intro..barley remember this progrom but I remember that little rap

  • is that realy Neal Buchanans hair !!!

  • Everones favourite cock eyed bean flicker Sandi Toksvig

  • Used to love this with Sandy Toksvig, and I seem to remember a woman always on rollerskates called Andrea/Angela?

  • lol...love neils hair

  • I hope neil didn'tlook like that in Marseille

  • @velocet1976

Not a mosher, but he was in a New-Wave-Of-British-Heavy Metal band called Marseilles... Still is in fact

  • OMFG Neil Buchanan looks more like Captain Caveman here

  • Blimey. The first series opening titles were heavy on the Tiswas influence wern't they - right upto the Chris Wroe cartoon child.

Second series, better titles (although I can't have been the only one to notice that no footage from previous shows were featured on the 'postcards') - but two slow zooms on the 73 red door at the end of the titles in quick sucession was a little careless - still I don't suspect the kiddies in the south watching minded that much...

  • HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYO-wait...?

  • Ahhh! Brings back great memories as a kid watching this. The days of regional ITV(TVS I remember them). The have just played the second intro music on the News Quiz Sandi now hosted and Carrie Quinlan asked her to recite the opening to the sandwich quiz, and she did it.

  • OMG....neil buchanan as a mosher....!!!

  • That's me running up the beach

  • Is that the guy that did art attack. Listen to his voice and the way his mouth moves I think it is.

  • Yes, and the first ever 'Art Atack' was done on 'No. 73' two years' later.

  • @TheMeakers yep, straight from NWOBHM band Marseille

  • Yep, it's Neil Buchanan.

  • @kezadrone Yes, I think his name was Steve Buchanan...?

  • @kezadrone...Sorry, Neil Buchanan.

  • @kezadrone - neil buchanan, yep, see him here first :o)

  • The TVS ident was my second favourite after ATV's.

  • Season one's theme was a million times better than that "Hey you" crap, with the mid-Atlantic vocals.

  • Do you have any Series 8 with Hamilton in to upload?

  • One version for weekdays and one for weekends!

  • And never mind Ethel's illness, what the hell is going on with the Buchanan haircut?

  • Does anyone know why TVS had two versions of their ident, one where the multicoloured device animates back into position, and one where it spins back? I'm not clear on why...

  • one for weekdays, one for weekends.

  • The second one was definately better, i still have the badge they sent me ohhh about 20 odd years ago, the red door with 73 on it and the milk bottles by the side lol. How sad am i!

  • Hahaha I thought it was Kim coming down the stairs in the second one!
