I never understood this tradition that Greeks have of throwing glasses or dishes on the floor during dancing or singing. What is that suppose to represent for them. Any Greek can explain this to me.
They throw glasses or dishes to honor the people dancing on the floor...in the old times they used to throw knives on the floor, but it was too dangerous and they switched to glasses and dishes...

Only the greeks know how to amuse themselves!! Even they have problems or they celebrate, they dance and sing!!!! Mpouzouki = amazing!!!
