I've been collecting classics/universe Autobots for a while now. I've yet to find a Prime that goes with them, would this be your recommendation or is there something more G1-esque out there I'm not seeing?

Coolest thing about this figure is that you can have him holding a shield. Have one arm set to the reverse side, unfold his cab side flap, and flip up his hand. Insert the top canopy into his hand, and rotate the cab side so the front sticks up over the shield and voila. If you have Shadow commander, he can be holding a pink sword and shield.

I personally think this is how Optimus should have been doon years ago. This version, although Voyager class, is awesome for posing and playing. Aside from the Masterpiece Optimus Prime I believe this is the best version to date.

i got him on ebay, and i also got the nemesis repaint and the nemesis ver of the armor. the armor is very cool, very good plastic tho its better for display (as the parts can be a tiny bit loose on prime) and the gun is a bit awkward. i payed £60 for it (ebay) and its definatly worth it. it adds a lot to the figure.

Both Classics and Henkei OPTIMUS PRIME have superior mold and excellent poseability. I have them both! How I wish Hasbro or TakaraTomy would release a Classics Trailer... ;-) great review Peaugh! for me, u're the best TF reviewer there is! =)

I never got this when it was out initially..Which means i never felt like i was wasting money on the henkei version, which arrived today, and i love it! Also waiting for my city commander armour set..Ironically, i bought it figuring classics ultra magnus would be easy to find afterwards, but he ended up costing more than the armour, in his two pack with skywarp :/
