  • Some great videos keep up the good work and keep posting!!!!

  • great, I can do that

  • 7 people didn't use Garnier anti-wrinkle cream =/

  • which part of my body, can i use for an atemi before & during this technique?

  • Jesus, aikido is almost as bad as pro wrestling. At least I used to believe in pro wrestling.

  • @UnknownCrypt Don't mistake TRAINING METHODS for a art's ACTUAL EFFECTIVENESS. I will send you some of my videos which show you how to do these techs very combatively and without any doubt show their real world utility.

  • @ATACXGYM This comment was driven by finding nothing but training methods and never having seen actual effectiveness of Aikido. I will check out the video you sent me at some point today, and let you know what I think. But until I see someone get into a fight against someone who knows a martial art and decides, "Fuck it, I'm going to flip him all around by his wrist until he's too dizzy to fight me back." I will not believe in this particular martial art.

  • @UnknownCrypt Sounds like a sensible response,if one has never seen effective entry and application of aikido hapkido wristlocking basics. I understand,I had very similar concerns. I simply changed my method of training to a more functional model which in turn emphasizes the functionality of the wristlocks. Wristlocks work; but certain people or gym's training methods may not be functional and may not work for that reason.Like my Gym motto says: "IT'S NOT JUST WHAT YOU KNOW IT'S HOW YOU TRAIN"

  • oh god...... he can't even pronounce the technique properly

  • you still have rules and moves that arnt allowed so they are not taught. remember- a street fight isnt a cage fight. theres more people, weapons, and moves that people will use. You should check out my channel. im trying to list all handy moves from different martial arts. im still working on it so forgive me for any mistakes on the playlists. peace

  • should i start learning aikido or not bcs i already do TKD and there is an aikido teacher i know???

  • why ask other people? if you want to do it, do it. Personally if i was you, i would. Your only going too benifit from it. There are very hand moves in aikido (and not so handy) which can come in handy. Dont listen to idiots who ignore 100yrs of history/experience and who think they know best cause they study a martial art (prob like a years worth lol). Jujitsu has aikido moves in it as both are from the samerai ere. All martial arts survived because they worked and many had to be used in war...

  • Obviously times change and you cant do some moves due to environment eg doing moves from your knees will fuck your knees up on a concrete floor. Just take what you feel comfortable with and what you think works. Its like everyone goes on about brazillian jujitsu-some moves might come in handy but i'm not going to roll around on the floor cause one of the attackers mates it going to stamp on your head while you try to do a move. And mixed martial arts (cage fight) ....

  • @lifeimprovement19 but i find aikido useful.in case some1 put a knife near my neck,i can defend myself

  • @lifeimprovement19 but i find aikido useful.in case some1 put a knife near my neck,i can defend myself but im already 18,isnt it a bit late?

  • @jin7210 i dont get what you mean. did you read all 3 comments?akikido is useful i agree. all martial arts are useful just not all the techs (due to environment or you capability/body shape) and so what if your only 18. i know cab drivers that are 50yrs old and more that start martial arts (mainly eskrima as is more of an attack ((elbows/punches)) martial arts and is weapons based - one of the best in knife and stick fighting) so age has nothing to do with it. im 25 jeez you make me feel old lol

  • @lifeimprovement19 the tkd teacher i have don't train us that seriously,we don't usually do combat.i want serious training.because of that i learn kickboxing, and there, they train you until all your energy gets depleted

  • Kickboxing will keep you seriously fit. used to do it. used to doso many squats couldnt move day after lol. TKD is okay but can be very stressful on your joints so you wont be able to do all the moves when your older. kickboxing/ thai boxing is very good ma for kicks and boxing. thai includes more elbows- and the kicks are slower than karate/kick boxing but more powerful (scientifically proven). aikido and jujitsu for locks and throws.judo throws can be devastating on concrete. Wing chun/ Kali..

  • are a 'soft' martial art- this is good for intercepting attacks. usually involves a mixture of strikes elbows, hands, forearm attcks, sweeps, knees locks breaks and kicks. Kali has a very cool flow using these to break down the attacker and render the attackers limps useless. also good weapons based. if you want to take ma series there is only so far you can go. striking ma's are okay in the ring but your not allowed to use all techs and locks/breaks arnts something you....2/3

  • can practice at speed easily.if you could get a mixture of these it would be good. this is what im trying to do. unfortunatly alot of kali/ekrima ma's are on youtube so might put my own vids on when i get a chance.if you look at my playlist's you find various vids that may help you.subscribe and you will get contant updates on ma techs.Another thing thing with tkd is there are alot of high kicks- not best to use and if he doesnt train you properly you may aswell learn something else.

  • @lifeimprovement19 yes thats the problem with tkd,you cannot give high kicks with most pants, they will get torn off and you have to warm-up to do high kicks.and thanks, i will watch your other video

  • @jin7210 dude your not a fucking Jedi, you can start at anytime you like.

  • @jin7210 also that wasn't intended to be rude.

  • this sounds like sushi names.

    the master is cool. great

  • Steven Seagal is more fun to watch.

  • amazing,im inspired to learn this,i actually will

  • @SantinoS4 best decision i ever made - wayyy more than just physical benefits. and ignore those who criticize it - they usually have not really taken a good look. much of the utility of aikido (perceiving vectors and intent early, capturing balance, leading the mind of the attacker, etc.) is almost impossible to see in a video. you're going to love it.

  • @sonsofdon turns out im actually not anymore, because i tried one of these on my friend , and he broke his arm and need metal plates put in , :/

  • @SantinoS4 um, yeah.. that wasn't very smart. one of the first things you learn in aikido is to protect your practice partner and make sure he/she is safe from injury. start with that one, grasshopper, and hopefully no one else gets hurt.

  • @SantinoS4 Well, that´s a lesson learned by the bad way, but I encourage you to continue (you must overcome that, and I am very sure you can do it), not hurting your buddies (both physically and mentally) its something that you must learn in order to grow into a good guy. Peace, bro

  • @MrBrawlerkid it was an accident though, people were doin martial arts on a field and i remebered the thing off this website and tried it

  • @SantinoS4 I understand that perfectly, been there done that :) Once I nearly broke a friend´s throat with a strike while showing him something I learned on the web (that was scary indeed) , and another bud nearly broke my spine during a throw ( something he also ``learned´´ en the web)

  • @MrBrawlerkid ina, i was bricking it when my friend broke his arm , i couldnt believe it , i told him to try and hit me and i did as instructed, and he said' fuck , i think iv broke my arm' ,lol i said, 'no ,seriously, i think i have' ,, 'o shitt' i said:L

  • But what if the person behind you doesn't know what Aikido is and doesn't know to fall on the mat when you twist his pinky? And what if he really wanted to beat your ass? Would aikido work in that situation?

  • @blr2k I'm inclined to say that if the person doesn't know he's SUPPOSED to fall, then his finger would be severely damaged. Not torn of damaged, but badly twisted damage. You the thing in Aikido is you're using your whole body against any attack and a body is always stronger than a single arm, leg, elbow or knee. Which is what you get in strikes. Though please not I'm not saying striking is useless, it is quite the contrary.

  • Ur vids are great but if you took the care to learn the japanese names, then respect japanese culture and learn to prnounce them correctly, wakarimasu ka?

  • @drterrabyte i would too love to learn the culture but im only allowed to study french :(

  • I will become a master too in my sitting room. I will touch my friends arm and he will do willing somersaults on cheap crashmats. lmao

  • i will practice the aikido

  • buykjhb

  • aikibudo! i need aikiBUdo!

  • shibaraki kubatani

  • ohsi bankaki kubatori? fucking white guy

  • wow that was some "whitened" japanese dude was speaking there. respect the language enough to pronounce the words correctly please.

  • @donhajike Isn't that kinda the same as telling a Japanese guy to respect the English language enough to say hello instead of hehro? If you characterized it as "yellowed" wouldn't that be considered sorta racist?

  • you make it look so easy and in aikido (which is a complicated martial art) there are a lot of mistakes... so can you show any common mistakes that could happen?

  • very cool!

  • very elegant. it seems like one would punch, kick, choke, etc. I simply cannot understand why an attacker would grab both arms from behind. Can you explain?

  • @aminevich 1) If you are fighting multiple attackers, and one wants to hold you down.

    2) It's easy to pull someone down from that position

  • @aminevich You can fuck up a police officer who is trying to cuff you.

  • click to skip ad 0:01

  • he got kind of a rough fall in that last move :)

  • what's the difference between sayunage and kokyuho?

  • ur face

  • Aikido Basic Techniques : Ushiro Tekubi Tori Sayunage
